Villa Gilda is a charming, spacious home of 179 sqm, set in the middle of a serene ancient olive grove, w/ incredible views.

The neighborhood is located in the Chateau area of Lioux, situated in the Luberon Regional Nature Park, a preserved and protected place, designated a World Biosphere Reserve and global Geopark by UNESCO. Centrally located, it is the perfect base for exploring the Luberon area.

Lioux is a small community surrounded by beautiful countryside and just minutes away from the popular villages of Gordes, Roussillon, St. Saturnin-les-Apt, Goult, Bonnieux, Lacoste and Menerbes, all collectively known as the most beautiful villages of France.

While walking around the village and its surroundings you will come across two chateaux, numerous amazing hiking and walking trails, cycling routes, vineyards, olive groves, lavender fields, and cherry orchards.

A huge line of rock over 700 m long and more than 100m high towers above Lioux. This imposing and magnificent cliff (falaise de la Madeleine) of grey limestone is a completely separate formation from the red ochre cliffs of Roussillon or Rustrel, a few kilometres from Lioux.

The large nearby towns are Apt, Cavaillon and Carpentras, 30 to 40 minutes away.
