R&R on The Lake, Duplex set up allows for one or multiple families to stay

Is it time to get away from chaos?

Rent one side of our duplex style cabin.

This quiet cabin can provide a relaxing getaway or a memorable family vacation. We rent Friday to Friday in the summer months and two night minimum in the fall, winter, and spring. We are located right on Ten Mile Lake in Chetek WI. Inside you will find an all stone gas fireplace and pine siding just right for a northwoods retreat. We have a full kitchen and bathroom. There is a dining area and a couch to relax on and watch the water or the fire. The bedroom on the main floor has a queen size bed and upstairs you will find a sizable loft with a TV/VCR and a futon. Pull the shades for a cozy romantic evening or let the sun shine in and enjoy the sceenery. Outside there is a semi-private yard, fire pit, and picnic table for each of the two sides of the cabin. There is also a shared dock with a pontoon that is available for rent, and a play structure with a sandbox.

Cabin was perfect for our stay. Inside was clean with all of the amenities needed for our stay. Not an easy place to turn around a tandem axle boat trailer, but we made it work.

Ice fishing trip

R&R was the perfect place to drive quads directly onto the ice for fishing.The Place was clean and warm, and very private. Plenty of room for parking. I would definitely recommend Charly's rental.

Excellent experience on the lake

Charly was communicative and proactive in reaching out prior to our arrival. The property was clean, comfortable and set up perfectly for our family of 4. The playground out back could use some minor repairs but it was a nice bonus area for our boys to work off some energy.

Weekend away

Perfect spot on the south end of the lake. Quiet quaint place. Very clean. Bonus play area for our 3 little granddaughters when they came to visit. Pontoon ended up being a great addition to our trip. Ended up having one of our sons and his 2 boys join us for a night to fish so the loft was perfect! Fish werent biting this weekend but we loved our time at the lake!!

R&R Mainland

The cottage was very nice, clean and the decor was well thought out, and well done the yard was great, the docks were sturdy and safe. For me the location on the lake wasn't ideal, the other times I've stayed on Chetek I enjoyed fishing from the pier, I didn't think of it till on the way home I could have tried fishing with something like a top water frog. All and all we very much enjoyed our stay

Almost Nailed It

This is our second time staying at the property. The owner, Charly, is great and always responsive in our communications. To cut to the chase, the only thing keeping this from being a 5-star review is the lack of 2 amenities: (1) a dishwasher, and (2) laundry. This wouldn't be a big deal except that the property requires a 1-week minimum stay in the summer months. When you're traveling for a week with a family, an in-unit dishwasher and laundry is basically a must-have. Hopefully this is something Charly will consider adding in the future. Other than that our stay was great, very clean and as-advertised.

Great cabin

Beautiful and very clean cabin. Relatively new so that was a huge plus with air conditioning and all the amenities! Contact with owners was easy. Check in and check out process was also very easy. Would also say that it is very handicap accessible. Close to town yet far enough away that you knew you were at the lake. Great place!

Floods Island Fun

Small cabin ideal for a young family of four. Great views, very quiet, and a high quality pontoon for rent. Very well kept property and wonderful owners who communicate well. Chetek is a great community to be in for vacation.

We were very impressed with the facility and our stay. The cabin was perfect. It had everything we needed. It was in a beautiful setting. We very much enjoyed a beautiful/relaxing weekend. The property managers were great. We would definitely go back.
