Island Pines is an artfully-updated, historic three-bedroom lake home, situated on a very private 1.5 acres on a large island in the Chetek chain of lakes. The island is reachable by vehicle and is just a 5-minute drive from charming downtown Chetek. The home features a large wraparound deck to take in lake views, a firepit to enjoy evenings by the lake, 400 feet of sandy shoreline for swimming, and a canoe to explore the 683-acre chain of six lakes. Pontoons can be rented from next door Watersmeet Resort.

Beautiful property, the location was amazing and my family had plenty of room to spread out. The property has a zen quality that allows you to escape from the normal hassle of life. Ann was attentive and if we would have needed anything I now she was just a text away!

Lots of Outdoor Space

We had a lovely stay at Island Pines to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Anne was kind enough to leave us a little treat upon arrival. There is a ton of outdoor space and great lake views!! I enjoyed playing music over the Sonos system and checking out the town and lakeside bars.

A Peaceful Retreat

The property is beautiful; there are flowers and foliage everywhere, as well as birds, frogs & rabbits. The interior includes lots of windows and spectacular views. The furniture is comfy and the kitchen is well-equipped. There is plenty of room for everyone. The dock is sturdy and the walk to it is short. A drive into town is as well. It’s a peaceful place to stay.
