I grew up in this area and it was great to be in a farmhouse that is being given a new life and Bruce is doing a great job insuring it has a new future. It had everything we needed and were very pleased with the value we were able to access. Clean, comfortable and updated. Thank you, Bruce.

Thank you for your kind words. You were also a terrific guest. Im glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to you coming back. It was a bonus that you started the laundry for me, much appreciated.
Traveled for the weekend. The apartment was amazing. It is a work-in-progress, with the owner investing his time, talents, and treasures into renovating the entire property, a 130 year-old farmhouse. The renovations were very well-done and the comfortable. The property sits next to a running stream that you can hear from the home. Very nice and I would recommend it.
We stayed here one night. The owner met us when we arrived. Very nice man. The apartment is relatively new. He’s remodeling an old farm house. What he’s finished is nice and he has some really nice plans for more of the remodeling. We would stay there again if we were in the area.

Thank You for staying with us and your kind words. It was my pleasure.
There is a lot of work still needed to this unit to make it welcoming to guests. We have stayed at many VRBO locations and I place value in reviews from previous guests when booking. The exceptional comments from others was not at all aligned with the state of the upstairs unit.

Sorry that we were redoing the new driveway, rear guest entryway and landscaping around the time of your stay. The unit itself was as pictured

Bruce has created a lovely apartment in a bucolic setting. The river and wildlife enhance your feeling of beautiful country life. The 2 bedroom-2 bathroom apartment was a perfect space for our several day stay as we visited family in the area. Bruce was attentive and willing to supply anything we needed.
The entrance to the apt was in a work-in-progress zone, so maybe ask Bruce about that status if uneven surfaces are an issue for you before you book. Other than the work zone, which for the most part didn't bother us, Bruce was a great host and we would book this property again.
Great apartment, good location for Clinton Regatta
I want to start by saying we gave feedback to the owner and he was receptive. When we checked in the place was not fully cleaned. Bathrooms were dirty. The one good fry pan had baked on food, floors were dirty. The place itself is nice and is still being worked on. Comfortable living area. Rustic. Lovely views from 2nd floor. There is no paved driveway, so if it is raining there is mud. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels/linens. Very close to Bainbridge and convenient for the Clinton Regatta

Im sorry your whole outdoor weekend getaway got rained on. And you were confused of which right rear corner of house to enter. As I explained, I ran the vacuum and swiffer steamer thru unit, before and after your stay. Machine washable white pads didnt come out even dark gray. I even used a white towel after you left and suggested, nothing. Travertine and granite floors just look that way. Drives my wife nuts. Between stays it takes 3 1/2 hours to do laundry. I spend much of that time cleaning while I wait. Which is why I have a 2 night minimum. The "dirty" frying pan was black on the outside. I was a trained professional chef, and thats how frying pans get from the heat. This is my second home and gets some hand me downs. If a client put it away dirty im sorry. Yes its a stone driveway and the original home is 130 years old. They didnt have asphalt back then. Its part of "country living" on a farm.If you looked closer at the surrounding area, not many driveways are paved.. Funny I didnt see mud tracked on the door mat or into "mud" room that was getting an upgrade.
