This home was as pictured with plenty of room for our family. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. My grandson was disappointed that the lake was down so he couldn’t fish but we went to a nearby park that had lake access. The home is close to plenty of restaurants. We ate at Lancasters BBQ which was really good. We were here for the BalloonFest. The only thing I wish we had known before booking was how steep the driveway was. We brought our van and we couldn’t use the driveway because our van sits too low. My son had no trouble getting his truck in, though. There is a ping pong table in the basement but we couldn’t find any paddles or balls. Overall, it was a great trip. We also made a tiny little friend (see photo)!
The access to the lake is grown up with brush. The side porch has nails stinking out & could really use some repairs. The entire cabin could use some TLC. Water pressure upstairs is not very strong. Which caused us to have to flush the toilet multiple times. Had to be in the shower longer to fully rinse your hair out. Toilet seat upstairs was very loose. Found dog hair in the silverware drawer.
Jessi, was the epitome of a fantastic host! There were some last minute logistical challenges and she was communicative and open and we had flexibility! She ensured our stay was accommodating and comfortable. We will certainly be back should we ever need accommodations in the greater Charlotte area!
The photos definitely did the property justice. We had five people, and didn't feel cramped or anything. Beautiful location in a quiet area - enjoying a morning coffee on the porch is the best here.
It was a girls weekend, we had not seen each other for 50 years. This house was great- Lake Norman is beautiful with several restaurants on the water and everywhere we ate the food was delicious. The deck was quiet place to relax with humming birds, squirrels, and geese darting around. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Great location, we’ll definitely stay again.
Had a great stay at the A frame! Unfortunately, we were there for not great reasons, but the home was exactly what we needed. It was clean, quiet, and perfect for my family and I to get together for the weekend. Definitely recommend if you want someplace nice and quiet.
