Convenient Cabin next to River Access. Nine miles to Lake George Village yet out of the hustle and bustle sits this newly-updated cabin.
The interior is fresh, neat, and clean and features custom wood furniture. Décor includes original paintings by a local artist and ironwork by a local artisan. The exterior is rustic with a front porch, large level yard, and firepit.
The cabin is directly across the street from the Hudson River Public Access point and Revolution Rail Biking.
The cabin is on a corner of a 50-acre farm with buildings and barn from the 1800s. It has it's own good-sized, private level yard outlined by flowering shrubs. There is a picnic table, fire pit, and campsite-style charcoal grill in the yard.
There are mountain views in both directions...looking to the west up at the cliffs of Sugarloaf Mountain and across the field and river to Hickory Hill (ski mountain).
The exterior is rustic but the interior has been remodeled to be up to date and comfortable offering a full-size kitchen, new bathroom, generous dining room, and cozy living room. The bedroom has an open closet and dresser for clothes storage. Wood floors with area rugs throughout. Both the living room and the bedroom have wall AC units with supplemental heat for cooler evenings.
There is ample parking for two vehicles at the side of the cabin.
Although there are several buildings on the farm, there is only one other occupied residence (owners' house) which is up the hill/out of sight from the cabin. (The white farmhouse in the photos is the future art gallery; expected to open the summer of 2024).
