Great place and location - just a short drive to Tahoe City and King’s Beach. The house itself was extremely clean, as was the hot tub. Would recommend!
Great location, kitchen had everything, all appliances, laundry. A couple things needed repair: Hall bath; hand towel rack next to sink, cold water handle
Very cozy and clean house. Looks just like the pictures. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was updated and made cooking meals easy. Only thing missing was coffee filters. The house is in a great location, just a 5-10 minute drive from a few different public beaches, including a dog friendly beach. We loved being close to Tahoe City for restaurants and walks along the lake. Just note that the hot tub is currently not in use.

Thank you for your feedback. We removed the hot tub from the listing as an amenity as soon as it became unusable.
Excellent location in Carnelian Bay and the home is beautifully remodeled - the furnishings were clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook at home. Host was very thorough and the entire check-in, stay, and check-out was extremely easy and convenient. Highly recommend this home if you're looking for a north lake stay in Tahoe!
This was the best getaway thus far. The home/property was beautiful, great location and the hosts were absolutely wonderful to work with. Hope to be back again soon
My friends and I wanted to get away to celebrate my upcoming wedding and this was the perfect location!
The house was clean, stocked with all the amenities needed, and had beautiful views. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of space for us.
Our host was extremely nice and understanding and wonderful to work with.
Perfect cabin to getaway for the weekend with my family. Easily fit 4 adults, two young kids, and a large dog. We loved the fireplace, hot tub, and space available for our family. We also found the primary suite bed to be comfortable. Location is great as close to Tahoe city, kings beach, incline village, and Truckee. Would definitely stay here again!
Over 25 years of summer vacations in Nortn Tahoe, we have absorbed the rising Carnelian Bay rents with dismay. This year we looked a bit further, and found this just-right home by Cedar Flat: nicely stocked, updated enough but not fancy, perfect size for our family, and priced reasonably. Convenient to either TC or KB, even Incline, and in a quiet neighborhood (not a party house, nor near one). Agate Bay Realty very responsive and anticipated most needs.
My 3 young adult kids and I found everything we needed at this cabin. Lots of room to relax, a little lake view from the front deck, and a 10 minute walk to the lake. The hill is steep, but the street is pretty! There was a heat wave the whole week we were there, but 4 big fans helped us . I would recommend this cabin!
You should let families know this is on a steep icy hill. When it snows the road and corner is known for cars skidding out. It’s dangerous and our car may be a total loss.

When traveling to the mountains in the winter, guests must prepare for winter driving including snow and ice. We always recommend 4WD and chains.
We had a great time staying in this rental. The house was clean and exactly as pictured. The huge couch and coffee table were perfect for our family and little kids to puzzle and play games on nonstop. My husband and I enjoyed the joy in- super clean and beautiful under trees and surrounded by snow. The kitchen was nicely remodeled and clean. I would prob update some kitchen furnishings for those of us who actually cooked a bit while staying there- but the very basics were all there and I made do just fine. We were not far from the lake (slight views at sunrise!) and the hey. We really enjoyed this house! Property management was great and a text away even though we didn’t end up needing them.
