A unique mountainside perch in Alaska's most coveted neighborhood, The Front Range Chalet is located on the flanks of Anchorage’s Chugach Mountains. My home will be open to guests for a limited portion of the summer each year so I can share this spectacular location with others from around the world. The space: You'll have the whole house to yourself: a clean, bright, open space filled with live plants and art from local artists, with gardens, a sauna, and all the amenities of my actual home! The living room offers amazing sunsets and cross-inlet mountain views; There's a dedicated office made for remote workers, with a stand-sit desk, wobble stool, monitors, keyboard, and mouse. The deck is one of the gems of the property and provides a great place to relax and appreciate the endless views and midnight sun. Guest access: There's plenty of parking and the front door on the deck has a keypad for entry at your convenience. The house has lots of stairs, consider the layout before renting please! Other things to note: 100% of profits go toward improving environmental sustainability of the house.

Was the perfect location for exploring Anchorage with day trips to surrounding areas. The house was clean and comfortable in a nice, quiet, neighborhood.
This was my favorite of the 4 places we stayed while in Alaska. The house felt like a home. It was well decorated and CLEAN! The view was incredible, and the owner was very friendly. I will stay here every time I visit Anchorage in the future.
Beautiful mountain chalet! Loved our stay here. Great location in a quiet neighborhood with amazing views of the Cook Inlet/Anchorage. Clean, cozy, rustic with modern amenities. Very close to Glen Alps Trailhead. Host Andrew was very communicative and goes out of his way to make his guests feel comfortable. Highly recommend!
The front range chalet was absolutely awesome. The house is perfect and clean and the views are breathtaking. We were fortunate enough to see Denali every day 3 days in a row. Close to some of the best hiking trails as well.Andrew was very accommodating and accessible. The check in and check out process was a breeze.Stay here if you have the opportunity!!!
First time to Alaska and we picked the best place to stay. It was so nice and just outside of town enough for some privacy but still convenient. The house is super nice and comfortable. Very well stocked. Andrew was great at responding to any questions we had. You won’t be disappointed if you book this house. 10 out of 10 would stay again!!
Our place was dialed, clean and comfy, spectacular views, fully loaded. Located on the top of the world! Huge decks and spacious updated rooms and bathrooms. Very place and friendly owner. Cant wait to come back
Family stayed for 10 days—6 adults. Home was great with a wonderful view.
Host was responsive to our needs—checking in early, finding a place to go for a dental emergency. Very flexible with arrival and departure details.
We loved coming here, everything is beautiful and easy. Impressive bbq deck and master bath. The living space is perfect to relax. Andrew is really nice and on top of things. Look forward to coming back to the front range chalet!
Andrew, was great. He communicated early with us to let us know of an issue and provided alternatives that worked just fine. The place was very clean and tidy. The views of Anchorage are as advertised and great.
We had a wonderful stay at Andrew’s wonderful home. The house was great with updated everything!! All was beautiful from the well outfitted kitchen to the beautiful comfortable bedrooms and updated bathrooms and wonderful views from the front deck. Andrew responded to any questions very quickly and was a great host. We had fun watching a visitor we had one evening (a moose) and enjoyed the beautiful flowers that were growing in the yard. We will definitely be back to stay at this great house in a great location!
Beautiful Anchorage Home. We spent the last few days of our 2+ week Alaskan vacation in this Chalet. Spent our evenings on the deck of this home enjoying as much time as we could soaking up the views. The home is spacious and very well appointed. We had a small challenge when we first arrived but it was addressed with the owner who was most gracious and professional. What a wonderful place to end our wonderful Alaska adventure.
