New to the area in 2023. The Shawnee WineDown is perfect to wind down and relax after a day out in the area. Right in themiddel of the Shawnee Wine Trail, near Giant City State Park, Ferne Clyffe State Park, Crab Orchard Wildlife Refuge, Grassy Lake, Devil's Kitchen Lake, Crab Orchard Lake and Lake of Egypt are all within 15 of our home as well and from 1-15 miles from our home, you can find numerous hiking trails, kayak launch, boating, fishing, zip lining, horse back riding, wineries, breweries, to name a few.

Reunion

Actually, we didn't arrive until 10:00 pm. The residence was easy to locate and even easier to unlock. Our host contacted us to make certain everything was ok. The home was immaculate, roomy, and the firepit was wonderful!! We were gone by 10AM well rested !

Great home and location for wineries and outdoor activities

The house is new and well maintained with all that’s needed for a vacation rental inside and out. We loved the fire pit after a day at the wineries. Hosts were responsive and personalized our requests and in answering our questions and offering ideas. We look forward to returning soon.
