Breathtaking ocean views and spacious living accommodations await you at this newly fully renovated fabulous 2 bedroom 2.5 Bathroom Makahuena Condo in Poipu. There are 2 King Beds and 1 Queen sofa bed in the living room. Well appointed fully equipped kitchen, accommodating up to 6 people, in a total of 1200 square feet of living space.

Centrally located in the heart of Poipu, Makahuena 2-301 offers resort amenities and beach access all within walking and short driving distance. Makahuena Resort is perched on a rocky point above the ocean in Poipu. This unit has ocean views and access to the pool, tennis court, hot tub and BBQs. The property is within an 8-10 minute walk to the beach. Witness breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from the over-sized ocean view lanai overlooking the pool and explore the coastal walkways leading to resort amenities, Shipwreck’s Beach, Poipu Beach Park, The Grand Hyatt Resort, casual and fine dining , gourmet grocery stores and weekly farmers markets.

Air Conditioning- Hawaii is known for its trade winds. Many homes on Kauai have been designed for "open airflow" using screened windows and screened sliding doors, and DO NOT have air conditioning. Please be sure and confirm when making your reservation whether the home you have chosen does or does NOT have air conditioning. Depending on the season, or even the day, temperatures typically range between 74 to 84 for the highs, and 60 to 74 for the lows, year-round. Refunds or discounts ARE NOT given for lack of Air Conditioning in a property.

The location was perfect. The room had an amazing view. The walking trail starts right next door and goes all the way to Shipwreck beach and beyond to the golf course. You are only walking distance from Poipu where you can watch beautiful sunsets and see the turtles.

The location, view and the unit were excellent! I knocked off one star because the vent hose for the AC unit in the primary bedroom was broken when we arrived, and the bedroom was quite warm. We had to go buy duct tape at 9 pm that night to fix it because it was after hours.

Wonderful stay

I highly recommend this rental. My family and I stayed 6 nights and it was the perfect place for us to come home too after long days of hikes, beach trips and sightseeing. Very clean, beautiful views, and very comfortable beds!! My husband and I agreed we would book this place again for our next trip to Kauai.

This condo was an excellent spot. we had great sunset views and were next to a trail for awesome sunrise views. short walk to poipu beach as well. also appreciated all of the beach equipment that was included.
