There is no beach view but it is about a 3-5 minute walk to it across the street. The area seems a little sketchy but it was perfectly fine with lots of restaurants within walkable distance. The pet fee was a little high, but overall not a bad deal for how close it is to the water. Destin is about 15-20 mins depending on traffic.
