Built in 1815, historic Mason Hill Farm is a wondrous getaway in the heart of the Berkshires. Situated across eight acres, the original farmstead includes the central farmhouse, a renovated barn, animal stables, multiple cabins, and the blacksmithing studio. The barn features a fully equipped commercial kitchen with a 6 burner Viking stove and oven, a central kitchen island and wood block countertops. For accommodations, the barn features two private queen bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, and an additional semi-private bedroom within the historic stables. The large living room is complete with a wood burning stove and includes laundry facilities. There are two adjoining decks perfect for casual outdoor dining and grilling as well as meditative reading whilst listening to the rushing sound of Kitchen Brook--the beautiful trout stocked brook on the property. Enjoy evenings with sausages and s’mores around the outdoor fire pit or yoga overlooking the creek. Perfect for memorable summer vacations, fall foliage, and winter skiing.

We fell in love with the historical aspect of the property. There are five historic structures on the property some dating back to the 1700's. Mason Hill is located alongside of the historic Cheshire Cemetery which has stunning monuments and washed away gravestones dating back also to the 1700's. The property is very spacious and private with beautiful views, sounds of the brook, and is situated in the heart of the Berkshires.

What makes this property unique

Natural beauty, quiet, private, full gourmet kitchen, woodland trails, trout fishing in stocked brook, two additional rustic cabins and fire pit, stone and wooden meditation benches overlooking upper and lower gorge, cedar outdoor shower, 1/4 mi. to Appalachian Trail, 15 min to Jiminy Peak Ski Resort, 10 min away from Mt.
