Kendra's place is perfect for a family getaway - the floor plan is open - there is natural sunlight throughout the entire house. The first floor has multiple places to hang out with 2 living room areas to gather for some family fun. The kitchen has everything you need to stay in and cook meals. There is also a dining room which would accommodate up to 10 at the same table. The kitchen, bathroom, and bedrooms were all fully stocked with all the essentials you need. The house was extremely clean and comfortable, clearly designed thoughtfully to accommodate guests. We used the gas fireplace every night we were there - plenty of space for all eight of us to sit comfortably and enjoy the warmth of the fire and watch TV. There is also an another area on the main floor to watch TV and there is a wrap around couch to accommodate up to eight people. The host is extremely nice and very professional, and easy to reach out to if needed and responds right away. There are also many personal touches and a welcome basket filled with tasty items. I would highly recommend staying here if you plan on visiting the Berkshires.

Perfect Berkshire getaway

There was everything we needed and more.Three different types of coffee makers! Plenty of room for all. Was a little worried when we realized there was no AC but, with the cool evening Berkshire breeze from open windows and fans it was fine. Lake beach is a short walk down the quiet dead end block. We were a group of adults but, it would be a perfect spot for a family vacation!

Great Stay

This is a great house with plenty of comfortable spaces in which to sleep and relax. Host Kendra was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and reachable before during and after our stay. Any question we had was responded to within minutes. The house is very clean and equipped with any and everything you might need during your stay from kitchenware to stationary to a Gasx for an upset stomach. I recommend this house with no Hesitations!

Loved our stay. Daughter-in-Law declared it the perfect choice. The home is beautiful and was perfectly located for us - right between the family wedding and their reception. It feels very private. Even though there are other houses on the street, it is quite wooded and we didn’t feel the need to close the blinds. The lake is there, out of site from the house and is less accessible than I imagined. If you walk a short way down the street, you can see the lake below. It’s accessed via a path across the street from the rental’s driveway. The owner provides a beach wagon to bring needs for the day. It’s a bit of a walk down so you won’t want to make too many trips back up.The house was spotlessly clean. The owner might have a cat; it’s the only explanation we could think of for the fascinating small platforms at intervals up the wall to the open upstairs hall. There was absolutely no other evidence of the owners pets. Not a single pet hair. No odor of pets. Our one yr old grandson stayed with us. The owner provided a highchair. We had a fun, messy First Birthday breakfast cinnamon roll and contained the mess to the hardwood kitchen floor for easy clean up.Comfortable furniture provided throughout. The young family had comfy snooze time.I’d stay here again any time I need a place in the Berkshires.
Smoke alarm misfired at 4:30 am. Baby woke up early. Looks like living room is comfy enough to catch another 40 winks.
Highchair provided so we could enjoy baby’s first birthday over the wedding weekend.
