*** Home & Property Note Nestled within a picturesque 130-acre farm, this home offers a peaceful and private retreat. To ensure a comfortable stay, professional pest control services treat the interior and exterior every two months. However, during peak seasons, you may still encounter ladybugs or stink bugs inside the home. Naturally, the outdoor environment sees fluctuations in insect activity throughout the year, which remains beyond our control. Many guests describe this secluded property as magical, embracing the beauty of nature—though, as much as we might wish otherwise, nature ultimately decides its course.

*** Pool Note - The weather in upstate NY can be quite unpredictable, and we do have a service that maintains the pool weekly, ensuring it is clean and that the chemical levels are properly balanced but unfortunately, the continuous rain we've experienced can disrupt the chemical balance. We do supply a pool Dolphin that can be used. Given that the low temperatures at times (even overnight dipping in the 40s and 50s) and it is a 40,000 gallon pool, we will not be heating the pool when it is open in fear of draining the propane tanks if not watched closely.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house and property, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, kitchen, and outdoor spaces. This includes the private pool, garden/backyard, and free parking on the premises. The finished basement, main family room and front of main house are also accessible.

The Neighborhood:
Explore the vibrant surroundings of this property, ideally situated for both relaxation and exploration. Within minutes, discover charming local spots like Windy Hill Orchard (5 mins) and Samascott's Garden Market (10 mins), perfect for fresh produce and delightful treats. Practical amenities like Dunkin' Donuts and gas stations are also nearby. The home's location provides easy access to the highway (3 mins) and is a short drive from popular destinations such as the shopping at Lee Outlets (25-30 mins), the excitement of Saratoga Racetrack (40 mins), and the cultural hubs of Albany and Chatham (both around 15 mins). For those arriving by car, free parking is available on the premises. Public transportation options and travel times to major hubs are not detailed, but the property is located at 382 Lape Rd, Nassau, NY 12123, USA, if you wish to check for yourself. Guests can also enjoy walking and biking on the property. Walmart delivery is available for added convenience.

Other Things to Note:
Enjoy full access to the property, including the lake and boats, which are shared amenities. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Free parking is available on the premises. Pets are welcome. Please note, for pool safety and no underage drinking. Contact us for any party or event information, as additional fees may apply. Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
