Our beautiful house “Macau” is located within walking distance to the quaint medieval village of Saint-Jeannet. The living room has panoramic windows with spectacular sea and mountain views. The house is within walking distance to the bakery, the butcher/deli shop and few traditional eateries/restaurants. You will always have a choice whether to stay at the house and enjoy the tranquility or “dive” into the vibrant life of the village.

Saint Jeanette

We have been all over the world and this was one of the nicest places we have stayed at. The village of St. Jeanette was spectacular and the host was extremely accommodating and easy to contact. House was well stocked and we are looking forward to returning.

The view is amazing. The house is well stocked and comfortable. Well marked hiking and mountain biking trails are abundant and within walking distance of the house. The road through the picturesque village is narrow. So, good/confident driving skills are helpful if driving. The centrar of the village is 5-10 minutes walk. Overall a very relaxing and memorable stay.

Déception

La maison a une belle exposition et très belle vue. Mais elle est très difficilement accessible. La propriétaire devrait préciser qu’elle est seulement accessible avec un petit véhicule. La maison est vétuste, le jardin et les escaliers extérieurs en trés mauvais état. L’environnement n’est pas calme, il y a les routes bruyantes et des chiens qui aboient en permanence. Je ne recommande pas cette maison.

The highlight of the day is to sit on the open terrace in the afternoon and watch the amazing colours of the evening scenery (sea, valley, mountains). Don't forget a glass of rose which is perfect "apres" swimming in the pool.

What makes this property unique

Our house has amazing views, conveniently located within walking distance from the village (so you can get fresh croissants first thing in the morning). Each bedroom has good a private bathroom and an air-conditioning unit.
