We had a great stay at the Cats Lair. It was a great location to get anywhere in Door County. The beds were very comfortable, house was clean and the fire pit area was fantastic. Rory was a great communicator and answered all questions quickly. I would stay here again if I find myself in Door County.

Extremely clean and very cozy. The kids loved having what felt like their own apartment space on the lower level. We wish there were closets and more space to put things in the bathroom. We had some trouble with the TV downstairs and weren't able to fully use it most of our stay, but the host was very responsive, and we eventually got the issue sorted. They have strict rules on using the washer and dryer - no beach items - which is good to know if you are planning to be at the beach a lot. Lastly, we feel there should've been a note about the cameras on the front and back decks. Potential invasion of privacy. Overall, we really enjoyed our time at the Cat's Lair!

Perfect for overflow family group

This property was the perfect place and size for 3 couples and 3 children. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked and the fire pit was a hit! Quick and easy code in and the information booklet and check out policies were very detailed.

Everything about the Cat’s Lair is wonderful and charming. It’s very close to Egg Harbor. The fire pit was great as well. We were all comfortable. Highly recommended.

Birthday Celebration

Stayed to celebrate my mom’s and aunt’s birthdays. Plenty of room for our 6 family members. Everything was sparkling clean and the check in check out process was very easy. The wooded location was very pretty as well. We would stay here again.

Door County Triathlon

Lucky to get this rental so close to Frank Murphy park as base camp for the weekend tri races held in and around Egg Harbor. Rory was clear and helpful in his messaging to me and we had a great stay at the Cat’s Lair! Would highly recommend to any family looking for a clean and secluded rental as a launching point for enjoying everything that Door County has to offer.

Reliving Door County

My parents spent many summers sailing around Door County. They wanted to relive some of those good times at 88 and 92. This home was comfortable for two couples and close to everything they wanted to see and do. Thanks for a great trip down memory lane.

Our family of 5 rented Cat’s Lair last minute due to problems with a different booking. Rory was super responsive and helpful in accommodating our needs. The house was the perfect size and we loved the quiet, central Door County location. The house was very clean, and had everything we needed. We were not able to use the lovely fire pit area due to rain, but would have enjoyed it under better weather circumstances. We highly recommend staying here and would do so again!
