Come relax in our open floor plan 4 bedroom country home surrounded by hardwood and pine forest. The bedrooms consist of 1-King bed, 3-Queen beds. There are oversize front and back porches to sit and enjoy the fresh air and nature. No Pets Allowed..

You can go fishing in our private 7 acre pond located behind the house.

Shady Pines was close to Crater Diamonds State Park. the home was big and clean. It was the perfect size for our family. It had everything you need in kitchen to cook meals. Loved all the positive wall hangings, fireplace and the home is beautiful inside and out!!!!

We took the boat out on the private lake to fish caught so many fish and released them. The property is just beautiful and peaceful. i great getaway for sure!!

Loved Loved!! The house was very cozy and beautifully decorated. Outside was very serine, loved the location. Had neighbors but very quiet, tall beautiful trees. Loved, loved the pond with the boat. The location is perfect, just down the road from the Crater of the Diamond State Park. Not to far from town to do some shopping, dinning. Will %100 be back. Thank you again.

Great home base for Crater of Diamonds

We enjoyed our stay here while in town to visit the Crater of Diamonds state park. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful yard. The kids loved the basketball hoop and the pond.

Camping in a house

We really enjoyed our stay at Shady Pines Retreat. Very relaxing and incredibly quiet. The residence was clean and comfortable. The pond was well stocked if you like to fish. Very close to Crater diamond state park. Scott and Tammy are awesome hosts.

This house is perfect for large families. It was stocked with plenty of pots/pans, towels, blankets, etc. The lake is beautiful! It was so quiet and peaceful. Most afternoons, we spent time on the porch enjoying the sounds of nature. We didn't find any diamonds, but there's always next time!
