The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and exactly as described — if not better. Everything was spotless, well maintained, and thoughtfully prepared to make us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The amenities were excellent, and the setting is ideal for relaxing, disconnecting, and enjoying quality time together. The peaceful atmosphere and privacy made the experience even better, without sacrificing comfort. The host was very welcoming, responsive, and attentive throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway.
This property was even better than advertised. Close enough to the city to be convenient but far away enough to feel like a true getaway. We spent a lot of time in the basement area which has a large den/game room, workout area, and office. Plenty of space on the main/top floors as well. There is a detached building with a lot of bar games (pool table, darts, shuffleboard, older golden tee machine). Huge yard with a fire pit that backs up to the creek. It was too cold for the pool but there’s a large pool with a cabana that looked like a great setup for the summer time. Would recommend this place and would love to come back in the summer!
Property was an awesome spot for my friends and I to visit. Close proximity with all your needs while still feeling secluded and not a bad drive to Broadway.
Listing was as described. Dave and Austin were very nice. Location makes it easy to get to Broadway but far enough from the city to feel like you are out in the country. Would recommend staying if you want to visit Nashville.
The cabin offered endless activities! A very quiet and secluded experience but still close enough to get out and explore Nashville and the surrounding area. We went in March before the pool was open but will be back during pool season.
We had a great time staying at this beautiful property! It was secluded and had a lot of great amenities! The owner was very helpful and responsive each time we needed him!
Really cool place to stay especially if you like being away from all the downtown stuff. Owners are great people and constantly like to hear feedback about things they can change to make things better as well.
We had an amazing time at this property, there are endless things to do in the property itself and it is also in the vicinity of downtown Nashville and countless other things to do nearby. Would definitely recommend!

The property was ok a bit pricey for what we received but it did have things there as promised. The rooms were a bit small and didn’t have a tv the other TVs required a log in to stream which wasn’t a problem for me but could be if you don’t have streaming service. There were was an obscene amount of spiderwebs and the game room while available was dated. The game room in the house had controllers that needed batteries which was a drag. The property did have what was advertised. From the expansive floats for the pool, to the speaker in the pool house. The owners were great at communicating
The home was extremely nice, everything you need to enjoy yourself and relax. Dave was amazing at hosting and super friendly. He was very attentive to your needs and supplies hospitality that I have never experienced renting from VRBO. We will be back.
What an incredible place! Private, but close to downtown Nashville. Loved the pool/hot tub/cabana, incredible for entertaining! We really enjoyed the video game room and the casino games, felt like Vegas. Everything was accurate in the listing and pictures do a good job of representing. Kitchen is well stocked and had everyone needed. The only thing that should have been disclosed is that one of the owners lives on site, not an issue nor was it intrusive, but we were surprised not knowing. Would definitely stay again.
The patio door was very difficult to open. There is also a mouse problem, we had them in our chip bag, which was pretty gross.
It’s a beautiful property. We enjoyed the game room, pool and hot tub.
What a fantastic stay we had at the Back Porch Lodge!!! The ambience of the cabin was perfect for what we envisioned for a long weekend in Nashville - well appointed (maybe add a mixing bowl and a baking sheet for those of us who like to cook up a Southern breakfast!), clean, and spacious!
The pool and hot tub were pristine and huge - large enough for our entire party to splash around or soak. Our college and teen kids loved the volleyball net and pool floaties, while the adults enjoyed the super cute cabana for lounging.
The property was spacious and the fairy lights strung along the wooded path to the creek are a perfect addition. We enjoyed a late night fire pit with smores, and let's not forget the party barn! Every party game imaginable and a huge hit for the kids and kids at heart.
We loved our visit and are already planning a return.
Huge thank you, Austin and Dave, for your hospitality and for sharing such an amazing place with us!
Our recent stay in this Nashville cabin was an absolute delight. Tucked away in a serene location, the rustic charm of the cabin provided a perfect escape from city life.
Upon entering, the cozy interior and tasteful decor immediately set a welcoming tone. The cabin was decorated so cute for the Christmas holiday. The fully-equipped kitchen and comfortable living space made for a seamless blend of modern convenience and rustic elegance.
The basement was setup for games and the garage too! Plenty to do for adults and kids.
The outdoor deck became a favorite spot, providing a picturesque setting to enjoy both morning coffee and evening stargazing. The hosting was exceptional, with thoughtful recommendations enhancing the overall experience.
In summary, this beautiful cabin in Nashville exceeded expectations, offering a perfect balance of comfort and natural beauty. I highly recommend it for a refreshing and memorable getaway with friends or family.

First Nashville Trip
The cabin didn’t look much like the pictures. Much smaller and more compact. The mattresses were extremely hard on every bed. We were very disappointed that there were no TV’s in any of the bedrooms. We met Austin who lived in the game room area of the property. He walked to the cabin where we were at least twice to pick up Amazon packages that were left at the door. We met him on the day of our arrival and that was it. We had to ask what the code was for the game room in the barn. Good thing he was there. No heat in the game room so it was almost impossible to play in there when it was 30 degrees outside. I asked Austin about firewood for the indoor fireplace. He said the only wood they had was under 7 inches of snow. Of course the wood was wet and wouldn’t but. We had to go to a local hardware store and spend about 100 bucks on firewood.
The hot tub was the best part of the property. The snow made the place beautiful outside.
Overall I was disappointed.
