Great location, loved the golf cart rides to the beach and access to Hyatt resort amenities. Access was a little more challenging as a guest to a member vs being a traditional resort guest (bracelets don't scan), but host bent over backwards to ensure we had what we needed and could enjoy the resort. Home was the average level of cleanliness that you'd expect with a pet friendly home, but we were so grateful to have our dog with us. Thanks for the memories with our extended family!
We had a great time spending Thanksgiving with our dog in Charleston SC! The place was even better than the pictures and everything exceeded expectations.
Recently renovated, beautiful and comfortable. Perfect layout for a cozy stay. Proximity to beaches and Wild Dunes golf course and resort were nice bonuses.
Everything is clean. No pet smells. The house is well outfitted (could use more clothing storage), updated, comfortable. Location is excellent - a block from the beach. The golf cart is a nice addition. Owner is very responsive.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was well stocked and in a good location. Easily walkable (10 min) or a short (2min) golf cart ride to the beach. The access to wild dunes resort was also a nice perk. Beds were comfortable. Heidi was quick to respond to the few questions/concerns I had. I’d definitely stay here again
Had a great stay at Heidi’s house. Excellent, quiet location so close to the beach that even our toddler could walk there. Loved the large living area and outside deck. Heidi was very quick to respond to any questions

As another review has now noted, this property is not a 4-bedroom. When booked, it was listed as a 4-bedroom, and we intended to use the space accordingly. Unfortunately, an adult was moved from a room to utilize a bedroom differently. Having the golf cart was great. The house is close to the beach and Wild Dunes.
We had an amazing week at Heidi’s property. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. The golf cart and access to Wild Dunes amenities was such a great bonus! We had a little issue with the batteries going out on the door lock and Heidi promptly responded and came to change them out. Thanks for a lovely week in our favorite city!

Thank you! So happy you enjoyed your stay. Come back soon!
Heidi was such a great host and her place was perfect! It was exceptionally clean, had a beautiful and fully stocked kitchen, great aesthetic and decor, and perfect location to the beach, wild dunes, and to restaurants etc. We are so happy we added the golf cart- it’s a must! Heidi was so sweet and responsive. Couldn’t have been a better home for our family- we will absolutely be coming back!!
This house on Isle of Palms was everythign advertised, and more! The beds and bedding were incredibly cozy and comfortable, the property was clean, the indoor and outdoor spaces beachy and vibey. The golf cart was an amazing amenity to have. And the location was perfect, SO close to the best beach access (2 minute walk), and right near Wild Dunes as well. Our two children loved the house (they are 8 and 11). I highly recommend this house for a family, or even a couples getaway. 5 stars all the way!

Cozy neighborhood near Wild Dunes
Unfortunately, golf cart barely worked and would not hold a charge the entire week we were there. While host was responsive when concerns raised multiple times during the week and eventually issued us a refund on final day, this made for major inconvenience in our trip and our planned transportation around IOP/Wild Dunes with small children. Enjoyed being able to utilize resort pools with host's member access. We noticed several palmetto bugs in the home and while that may be somewhat common in coastal environment in the summer, this was a little unsettling with small children crawling around. Office space advertised as additional 4th bedroom but there is no door to close off to living area and kitchen. Great AC during an especially hot week in July. Plenty of parking under and around house for large families. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

Appreciate the review and feedback. I will note no door on the description. Palmetto bigs are part of the islands and I do have pest control spray. The golf cart breaking was unfortunate and out of my control. As soon as you let me know it wasn’t holding a charge, I had a technician out there in hours. We thought it was working and you used it for a day, but then it would charge again. I immediately rented you a golf cart for your use out of pocket and refunded you money for the inconvenience. I did as much as I could for you and looked for solution as soon as you let me know.
We love staying at this beautiful home in one of the quiet areas on Isle of Palms. The house is very comfortable and clean and modern. All the bed slept great. And the huge sofa was great for our crowd. We will definitely come back to stay. The master bath is really large and has a toilet closet also. The soaking tub was enjoyed. We loved going to wild dunes on the golf cart. That was a really nice perk. The golf cart is great. It seats six people comfortably . There is a lot of parking. At one time we had five cars in the driveway and one of those along the street. I think you could probably fit 7. The back deck was so wonderful to sit on in the mornings with coffee and in the evenings we really enjoyed being out there, dining with the party lights. The old oaks are so beautiful surrounding the home. It is a very quiet neighborhood and the back deck is very private even though there’s homes around because of the position of all of the houses.I had to reach out to Heidi about something and she responded immediately. She took care of the problem of the party lights not working right away. The fourth bedroom does not have a door it is an opening. Next to the kitchen. We were able to remedy the door for privacy.

Property does not have 4 bedrooms.
The “fourth bedroom” is not a bedroom. No door, curtains, or closet. Both our 2.5-yo & 6-mo slept with us, so we did not get one good night’s sleep. According to tax records, the house was listed as three bedrooms when sold in 2021. We found the home on Zillow, where this “bedroom” was the kitchen. The living room TV had no remote for changing channels or volume, nor is it attached to an external source for viewing programs. The trash & recycling cans were VERY full, with no instructions on when or where to put them out. In the queen bedroom, the light on ceiling fan did not work. In the bunk bed room, the ceiling fan & attached light did not work. Several of the closet doors are not fully secure & do not function as they should. In the hall bathroom, there is one towel hook (no other places to hang wet towels), no toilet paper holder, and the grout was worn away & dirty. No transition into hall bathroom, meaning there is a gap between the laminate & tile and because the tile is raised, there is a tripping hazard. The TV in primary bedroom is not hooked up to any source, so nothing can be watched. We never received the waiver to use the golf cart. The deck railings need repair & the deck was green in several places. Many nail pops. The fridge water filter was expired. Grill was covered in grease so could not use. Ceiling very dirty around skylights. Contacted owner for a few things when on-site, but response was not helpful. Response after stay did not satisfy our concerns.

Thank you for your feedback—I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
I’m very sorry that the setup of the fourth bedroom and other aspects of the house didn’t meet your expectations. The fourth bedroom is now listed in the description as not having a door, and while that setup works well for many families, I understand it may not have suited your needs. I apologize for any inconvenience that caused during your stay.
When you were at the house, I only received two messages early on asking about the ceiling fans and TVs, which I responded to promptly. I didn’t hear back or receive any other messages until four days after checkout, so unfortunately I didn’t have the opportunity to resolve the other issues while you were there. I always strive to address anything that comes up as quickly as possible, and I would have done the same for you with minimal disruption to your stay.
Since receiving your message, I’ve fixed the stair railing and replaced the grill. I also want to clarify that there is a toilet paper holder in the bathroom, and additional water filters are located under the sink. I understand these details might have been missed during your stay, but I want to make sure the information is accurate moving forward.
It feels like there was some initial frustration with a few things, but unfortunately, I wasn’t given the chance to address them during your stay. Instead, it seems the experience led to a broader critique of the home. I truly believe many of the concerns could have been resolved quickly and easily had I known at the time.
I want to emphasize that I take all feedback seriously and continually work to improve the experience for every guest. Many guests have left very positive reviews, and while I know I can’t get it right every single time, I always aim to.
Again, I’m sorry your stay wasn’t as smooth as it should have been. Thank you again for your feedback—I’m using it to ensure the house continues to meet (and exceed) expectations moving forward.
Best,
Heidi
