We enjoyed our stay; very close to downtown High Springs and within 5 miles or so of Gilchrist, Poe, and Rum Island springs. The house was clean, the AC was cold, and the beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed and appreciated the pantry goods that were available. A few things to work on: The yard was fully fenced, but not gated, so clarification in the description of the property would be helpful; sparkling clean windows would improve the view; add the finishing touches on the new flooring to pull it all together.

My husband and I arrived on March 7th after driving 1000 miles. The property looked very tired and unkept, doors and windows very dirty. The yard and front on the home had leaf clutter. We also discovered the WIFI and streaming did not work, even after I asked the host prior to arriving to make sure this wouldn’t be a problem. The host did try to resolve the issue but it required a technician to come out. The earliest they could arrive was five days later and we had to be there. The inside of the home, not as cozy as pictured. Linens were all dark colors and tossed in balls in the closest. Towels were cheap thin rags. How do you sanitize them? The grout in the tile was so filthy. Flooring in the kitchen peeling and joints separating. The stove had a permanent burn mark on the cook surface and the oven was filthy. The vents to the stove vent were blocked with old grease! Dirty dishes in the cabinets. Fire pit falling apart. No curtains in any of the rooms…just blinds. The windows were so dirty on the outside I had to clean them so we could see out.We left on March 10th after telling the host of the issues. We ended up staying in a hotel and shortening our vacation. They didn’t offer any refund. We also reached out to Vrbo but haven’t heard from them for more than two weeks. We drove by the property about a week later to find someone cleaning up the outside and appeared to be remodeling something in the inside. Never again!
House was super clean and well-equipped. Some recent upgrades and conversions. It is an older house and the neigborhood is a bit run-down, but it was perfect for what we were looking for - a place close to friends for out-of-town Christmas dinner.
All and all it was worth the money. The only complaints we had was the master BR is s converted garage with a 4" step down trip hazard. Furniture wasn't comfortable, Old appliances, Small bowl toilet, No Tv channels and we couldn't get on to the wi-fi easily. Needs an info sign or folder with passwords local attractions, what outside trash can to use at the end of the road and what to do when leaving etc..
Was a wonderful property in a very beautiful small town.
The interent was out during our stay and did not come back on but that may have been a provider issue and not the fault of the property.
Also if you are bringing a dog a wonderful yard but be aware it is not fenced in.
We will be staying here again the next ti.e I am up to visit family for sure!
The host communicated everyday and was willing to solve any issues we might have had. Located close to Gainesville (15 minutes). A few good restaurants nearby especially Watershed. Not a kid environment at night but food was good. If you want to sleep more than 6-7, bring an air mattress.

I enjoyed this little house and how close it was to everything. Had plenty of room and everything you would need was there. Thanks so much for having us
This property was clean and the host was wonderful. We had no issues while there. The house itself is void of any warmth. A rug or some throw pillows, etc., would really make the place feel warm and cozy. Would rent again, it's just a little less cozy than other places we have stayed at. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit.
Great house with everything we needed. Perfect location to quaint town, the venue we were in town for and the beautiful springs! Jessica was always very responsive and happy to help. She was even willing to give us an extra hour to check out which was tremendously helpful. Thank you for sharing your house with my daughter and I!
We were devastated by hurricane Idalia and needed a place to stay with no notice. Martin and Jessie allowed us and our three dogs to check in with an hour notice.
The house was clean, the kitchen well equipped and the beds comfortable. Very close to downtown High Springs. Excellent communication.
We had an amazing time. We got to enjoy a home away from home. The children loved the back yard space. My husband and I got to enjoy the home and relax. We had an amazing time in this cute fun little place. We will definitely use it again next trip back home to visit my sister and dad and other family that lives in the area.
