My best friend and I had a great stay with our 3 girls. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We had no issues to contact the host with, but he gave a number where he could be reached if an issue came up. The kids loved the game room and hot tub. Definitely would plan a trip here again.
Our stay was absolutely amazing, the home had perfect accommodations, clean and comfortable. The host goes above and beyond in providing a wonderful experience. This was our 2nd stay and will not be our last! Can't wait to come back!
This was a great property! Didn’t use the firepit or hot tub because it was a hot weekend, so can't speak to them, but looked fine. Lots of outside seating and 2 loungers. We thoroughly enjoyed the comfortable beds (would love to know brand/style) and the two full baths. Appreciate walk-in and tub options. The game room was great with cozy couch & ottoman (that could be extra sleep option) and high-top table with the old-fashioned game from cracker barrel tables. There are thousands of arcade games (haven't seen childhood fave Qbert in four decades!).Kitchen, living, and dining, open and spacious. Great covered, screened porch with table and two seating areas. We watched fireflies at dusk.Boat rentals available at end of street! Two smaller issues prevented 5 stars. Upon arrival, unit hadn't been cleaned. Dock area could be cleaned up, as vines taking over, looking neglected. Easy check in, great communication! Owner and the cleaner apologized (she said her days were mixed up, had never missed before, arrived quickly and did amazing, thorough cleaning). Owner provided 10% discount for our inconvenience. Would come back! Thank you for sharing your investment/home with our family. We took great care of it!
Really spacious & clean house! The rooms are large, the furniture is comfortable and so are the beds. The kitchen is well stocked and roomy. Lots of towels are provided! We really enjoyed the fire pit. Very quiet neighborhood, large backyard, and large screened-in back porch. Very nice deck in the back that is beside a narrow canal. Cannot see the lake from this property but it is close by. The owner is easy to work with. Great house overall!
We enjoyed this gem of a property to meet up with friends. The beautifully decorated home seems to be recently updated and feels fresh, clean and comfortable. The fun gathering places provide a lot of areas to chat — the camp fire ring, screen porch, hot tub, family room, game room. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked—we found lots of towels, beach towels, wash cloths, paper products. We spent most of our time in the screen porch. Two days wasn’t long enough to enjoy all the perks like the pool table and arcade games. Can’t say enough good things about this property and the location.
We visited two nearby, casual waterfront dining spots with fun live music—Buckeye Lake Winery and Horvath’s Harbor. We also found two adequate pickleball courts in Ryan Brayden Park, about 10 mins away. They are on the basketball court near the rec center. Take a net with you!
Overall a great stay in a lovely home. We would definitely return!
