Our stay was AMAZING. The backyard, patio and hot tub was an absolute oasis and we enjoyed every moment during our stay outside that we could. It is super private and quiet too! The bed is SO COMFY. We slept so good and all the little amenities and touches the owner left us were so appreciated (handwritten personalized welcome card, candies and chocolates, coffee, creamer and sugar, bottled water, robes, oranges). I would love to come back and stay. The only small suggestion I would make is adding some wall/door hooks to have more spaces to hang up jackets and towels. Seriously the only constructive feedback I could come up with. It was such a treat being able to stay here.
We had a great stay. This is perfect distance from downtown, about 10 minutes away, made it easy to get to and from downtown without having the crazyiness of the city. Where you stay is attached to the house in the back. Check in was very easy, you are provided with a parking spot right next to the entrance of your room. Your view is just beautiful! You get a full view of the nashville skyline and a lake in between. We didnt get to lounge out there but there is chairs to sit and enjoy the view with a firepit. We did however enjoy the hot-tub! Our room had plenty of amenities, clean towels, clean bed spread. Everything was very clean and Jane was a great host! Very communicative and easy to reach. We had a couple of issues with the tv and she made sure to get someone to help us out and assure we were comfortable and happy. Overall, this is a very beautiful, romantic stay and perfect amount of nature and city to enjoy.
The property was located on the Cumberland River, away from the busy city, but close to where we needed to go. The huge lawn and deck were very relaxing and the jacuzzi was great. The little kitchen and bathroom had the essentials for one or two people. The king size bed was very comfortable.
We had great stay at the River House rental for our anniversary trip to Nashville. The property was clean and well-maintained, matching the listing description accurately, a very cute place. It had everything we wanted in a stay! Jane was very easy to communicate with! The spacious suite with a king-size bed and comfortable sitting chairs, was perfect for our getaway. While we weren't able to get much use out of the hot tub due to the rainy weather, the one night we did, it was well-maintained and in a great spot to view the city skyline.Overall, we found this rental to be a great choice for our trip! We hope to get back to Nashville again, and definitely would book here again! Thank you!!
The property looked just as pictured on the app. We were slightly surprised and disappointed that it was not a stand alone place, probably our fault and should have read the online description a little closer. It is a house that has been subdivided into a VRBO on the back but is attached to the home and I got the impression the property owners live in the home
I loved the private entrance and the outdoor space. The room was clean and everything a couple looking to stay would need. Super simple drive in and out of town if you want to be close but not in the middle of downtown. Saw Kill Tony during my stay and could get to Bridgestone arena in about 11 minutes.
Everything was awesome and the host was very communicative. We had no issues during our stay and our host made sure we had everything we needed. Loved the property and the amenities, especially sitting by the fire pit in the evening overlooking the river and downtown. Location is minutes to downtown so if you want peace and quiet at night and fun during the day then this is a great spot!
This was a perfect place to stay! The property is close to all the action without being in downtown. It was exactly what we needed. The view is amazing! The hot tub is perfect for 2. Everything was extremely clean. I’ve never stayed at a place where the host is on-site, but don’t let that stop you from booking. The way this is set up is very private. The host is very nice and quick to respond if needed.
This was a lovely getaway for my husband and I. I went to school through Meridian Institute for Surgical Assisting and to the school was about a three minute drive. My husband relaxed throughout the day and we enjoyed the Hottub in the evenings with a wonderful River view with city lights. The caretaker was wonderful and so kind to us. There’s even a desk space if needed. You would never know she was even there.
We were very skeptical when we arrived at the location. Driving through the neighborhood was not reassuring and when we pulled up, we realized we had booked a suite connected to the hosts' home. We almost went somewhere else, hut decided to give it a try for at least the first night of our stay, and we are glad we stayed! HOWEVER, all that being said, we would book here again and would recommend it to others. The suite was comfortable and private. It had everything we could possibly need! The host sent messages throughout our stay and was avaliable for anything we might need. The location was actually close to everything we were looking for and the views were amazing! GIVE IT A CHANCE!!

When we arrived, we met the owner, a very nice lady, who gave us recommendations on places to eat. The views of the river and the Nashville skyline were perfect. The house was bright and clean. The hot tub was lovely, looking out at the city. Overall, we highly recommend this place.
Great 4th of July Stay with Nashville Skyline Views
My wife and I had a great stay at the River House rental for the 4th of July. The property was clean and well-maintained, matching the listing description accurately. The spacious suite with its king-size bed provided a comfortable base for our holiday getaway.
What really made our stay special was the elevated backyard overlooking the river. We spent most of our 4th of July evening out there, enjoying the view of the Nashville skyline. The vantage point was excellent for watching fireworks displays across the city, which made for a memorable holiday experience.
The small kitchenette was adequately stocked for our needs, and the private deck was a nice touch. While we weren't able to get much use out of the hot tub due to the extremely hot weather, it was well-maintained and in a great spot to enjoy cooler evenings and a view of the city skyline.
The location offered a good balance of proximity to downtown Nashville while providing a quieter setting for relaxation. Overall, we found this rental to be a solid choice for our 4th of July trip, particularly for the skyline views and fireworks visibility. Thanks!
I'm not someone who likes to stay on the grounds with my host. I prefer my privacy and was a little skeptical when we first booked. It all worked out nicely though so if you are someone who likes your privacy as well don't let that stop you.
My husband and I enjoyed our night in the suite! It was relaxing and quiet which is just what we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. The view from the hot tub on the deck was beautiful and we look forward to staying again.
This had everything we wanted in a place to stay- plus more!!! They had it equipped with all needs plus a wonderful setting to look over river or just hang out on the porch! Wish the weather was a bit cooler at night so we could of used the hot tub!
The location was excellent- close to family and downtown if you wanted to join in that fun.
Quiet, clean, nice natural light, cool view of skyline at night. Kind of strange layout with the kitchen by the shower. The drive was through an up and coming area to get to the neighborhood, but felt safe once there. Easy close drive to downtown.
The coziest stay with amazing backyard views! We enjoyed coffee on the back patio in the mornings after a great nights rest 💗 This is one of the best places we have stayed at, and we travel often. Definitely a favorite. Our host was the best, and does a perfect job at communicating and offering a memorable experience. We will be back for some more hot tub time!

Why they chose this property
Location, location, location!
We our in the thick of what's happening in Nashville. Minutes away from all the action yet quiet enough to get from it all.
What makes this property unique
Value is based on scarcity. Just as a rare coin is valuable, 1718 River Drive has a rare / unique view nowhere else in Nashville. In a city where real estate is consumed like a monopoly board game, across the river from my home is an 18 hole golf course never to be developed. I also to mention we sitting right on the Cumberland River Banks with the most spectacular view of Nashville. Our backyard is a sanctuary.
