Beautiful Cabin with Mountain Views and Access to the New River!

-Near West Jefferson, Sparta, and the Virginia state line. The cabin is located in a quiet, gated community nestled in the Appalachian mountains. With 3 levels of living area, each floor is equipped with its own bedroom, bathroom and living area so there is plenty of room to stretch out.

The main living area has a beautiful stone, wood burning fire place as well as a fully equipped kitchen with all new utensils, pots and pans. We have a 50in Samsung Smart TV to be enjoyed from a leather sofa or recliner. Please note that we do not have cable or satellite, however you do have access to Samsung Smart TV which has many of the same options as cable, as well as the ability to log in to your own streaming service of choice.

The upstairs has a very secluded bedroom and full bathroom with a queen size bed and room darkening curtains. The loft area includes a queen size futon and gliding chair perfect for enjoying the mountain views.

Downstairs really has it all! Located in the "game room" we have a pool table, Samsung Smart TV, as well as a fireplace with gas logs. Downstairs we also have a full bedroom and bathroom, as well as washer and dryer. A brand new sleeper sofa memory foam mattress on the downstairs level provides extra sleeping space.

Outside we have two levels of connected and covered wrap around decks. Upstairs we have rocking chairs, a hammock, a gas firepit, and a grill. Downstairs we have Adirondack chairs, and hammock swings. In the back yard enjoy cooking s’mores around the fire pit with four Adirondack chairs.

Please keep in mind that we are in a quiet, gated community with full time residents as well as vacation renters. We have a large backyard to enjoy, but please respect adjoining private property, and only enjoy our property unless it is an otherwise noted common area within the neighborhood. You'll be staying in someone's home, so please treat it with care and respect.

Please note that this is a NO smoking home - including the use of e-cigarettes or vaping products - inside the house at anytime.

Caution should be exercised when using fireplaces, fire pit, and grill as they get hot and can cause burns and/or serious injury. Please do not cook food in the fireplaces or gas fire pit located on the deck. The bonus room fireplace is gas log; do not use wood in this fireplace.

Fireworks are strictly prohibited for safety & fire hazard.

For security there are cameras at the front and side of the exterior house.

Guest limit is 6 max. Only the number of guests on the reservation are allowed on the property. We do not allow parties, events, or large gatherings. If any are discovered, you may incur additional charges. In addition, your reservation may be terminated and you could be asked to leave the property.

Four wheel drive vehicles are recommended in the winter months. Being in the mountains the area is tranquil and full of wildlife. This does include various types of insects, which at certain times of the year try to venture inside. Due to sporadic rains soaking the ground, occasionally ants will make their way into the home. Please be careful not to leave any food/spills out as that will only exacerbate the issue. Although every effort is taken to prevent insects inside the property, we obviously can't guarantee you won't get a visit from an odd insect/bug.

No parties or events. No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. Our cabin can accommodate a max of 7 guests. No pets allowed; owner has severe pet allergies.
