Great location to spend time hiking, getting to West Jefferson, Damascus and alll things we love about the mountains. Beautiful home — much nice that not japes on the photos. Would definitely stay again.
This was a great experience in the NC Piney Creek area. The beds are super comfortable, the sheets were very high quality, thank goodness, and everything is very spacious. We were looking for a home with a big couch, a master on main and lots of porch space. This fit all 3. The host was the best!
RENTER BEWARE Home full of live wasp in bedrooms on beds, refrigerator full of rotten food foul smell, soiled area rugs, old nasty towels, thermostat set at 55 in freezing weather, very poor communication from host checked out on first night rented another VRBO in same neighborhood. Host did not refund . VRBO HEALTH AND SAFETY involved with no refund to date.
The place was clean and as shown in the pictures;however, when I arrived, there was no water and I was informed it was still winterized and that my arrival wasn’t expected even though I had a reservation. It took over 2 hrs of fixing things myself to get the water on and then the water heater. She was responding in a timely manner; however, this shouldn’t happen.
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin in Piney Creek! The cabin was exceptionally clean, very spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for cooking and enjoying our stay. The amenities provided made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our trip was watching the deer regularly wander through the property. My son absolutely loved seeing them each day, and it made our stay even more memorable. The only issue we encountered was that we were unable to get the TV in the family room to work. Fortunately, it was a minor inconvenience and did not take away from our overall experience. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Piney Creek area. The peaceful setting, comfortable accommodations, and wildlife sightings made for a fantastic getaway. We will definitely plan to stay here again on future visits to Piney Creek!
