About this property

Enjoy an affordable rural lakeside retreat, while kayaking, fishing, swimming. See eagles and loons in their natural habitat. This is a cozy, clean cabin in a quiet cove. Three single kayaks with life jackets for adults. Enjoy nighttime firesides, while enjoying sunsets. You will be dazzled by the night sky and maybe see fireflies. It is a 50 minute drive to visit Mount Desert Island, home of Acadia National Park. Large lawn for summer games. Even a rainy day at camp is better than a sunny day at work!
Smart TV if needed. Two bedrooms have a comfortable queen bed and the third has a bunk with double bed lower and twin upper.

A Great Place to Relax and Take Day Trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park

We had a really memorable and pleasant stay at Patricia’s lake house. The waterfront cabin on Beech Hill Pond was the perfect setting for a relaxing escape, and Patricia and her husband went to great lengths to make our stay enjoyable. The location of the cabin provided a great balance between relaxing days kayaking on the lake and day trips exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Patricia displayed exceptional hospitality throughout our stay, and provided helpful recommendations for restaurants and rainy day activities. Nights at the cabin were very tranquil and provided a perfect opportunity for roasting marshmallows, stargazing, and listening to the sounds of the loons on the lake. Patricia’s cabin on Beech Hill Pond was an ideal place to unwind, unplug, connect with nature, and relax with the family. We’ll definitely consider staying there again the next time we are visiting the area!
