Wish I could post a print screen, but can’t. So I copied and paste EXACTLY what was said. This is not all the messaging, but you can see who is lying…. According to his message to me he does smoke! . From me: Luke I’m a real easy host, I’ve had lots guest that smoke pot outside, I don’t judge, I don’t care. But honestly this was the worst I’ve experienced in 3 years hosting. I even had my nephew go into the cabin and he had the same reaction. It truly was very strong and overwhelming. You had opened windows and had the fans on but that wasn’t enough. If your not willing to pay for the extra cleaning, fine I’m not going to push it. But it’s very clear that there was direct smoking of some kind in the cabin. Secondary smoke would not have been be that strong inside. Lukes response: I didn’t smoke in the cabin! I kept some in a bag in the kitchen that was it. I only smoked at my truck end of story. Good weed nowadays smells strong I’m sorry about that I didn’t realize. You have signs posted on the fridge I didn’t disrespect your property like that. I never once even opened a window it was too hot kept the AC on the whole time. Guess I should’ve kept it in the truck just didn’t want it to get stolen out of there to be honest don’t know your property and everyone there. It’s very clear to me that you’re overreacting and just jump to conclusions! Have a nice life. My property is non smoking. Due to the smell in the cabin I had to do extra cleaning so my next guests didn’t walk into a place that smelled like marijuana.

Cari, thank you for staying with us and for your kind words about the cabin, property, lake access, and kayaks. We’re also so glad your dog was able to enjoy the space! We’re sorry the shared outdoor areas weren’t quite what you were expecting. We do try to be very transparent in our listing and booking information that the property and outdoor amenities are shared and that we may be on-site. During the summer months, especially in July, we do spend quite a bit of time at the property and occasionally have family and friends visit as well. We completely understand that some guests are looking for a more private cabin experience, while others really enjoy the social atmosphere and shared lakefront space. We appreciate your feedback and will continue making sure the shared nature of the property is as clear as possible for future guests.
