The Library Cottage met and exceeded our expectations. It was cozy, clean, welcoming and very well stocked. A perfect place for us to stay while visiting our Vermont family. We will definitely be booking again.

Thank you Kelly for your kind words. I appreciate how you left the place, clean and tidy. I hope if you are in the area, you would consider booking again.
The cottage was perfect for our first two nights in Vermont. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was delightful to be across the street from a wonderful thrift store and next to a chocolate shop. Monkton was a nice location for day trips. We enjoyed the orchards, covered bridges, the Green Mountain loop and the beautiful Lincoln Peak Winery. I loved the spirit of the library that lives on in a bookshelf filled with books, something for everyone.

I hope you visited all you could and will come back. Thank you.
I was notified after being at the house for a little while that I was to use the heat pump and not the baseboard heater. Other than that everything was good. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked, it was quite a cozy retreat.

It is ok to use the baseboards, it is just more effficient to use the Heat Pump and it heats quickly. No problem. Thank you.
The Monkton Library Cottage was appointed and located perfectly for our 3 week stay while visiting younger family members nearby. We were able to cook simple meals and had our own space to relax in peace. The grocery store and laundromat in nearby Hinesburg was easy to find and use. Our host, Nina, was available and very responsive. We'd stay at the Monkton Library Cottage again without hesitation.

I am hoping you do come back Janet. Grandchildren grow up so fast.
This cozy cottage was the perfect getaway for us. The kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils for cooking our own meals. Everything is very new and in great condition, and the A/C worked well in the July heat. The location is perfect for enjoying nature, while still being a short drive from Burlington and lots of great food and drink options.
Clean and comfy. Great communication with owner. FYI the bed linens for the pullout sofa were hard to find. (They're in the brown crates that act as side tables.)

I am sorry to hear that it was hard to find. I am very responsive if anyone has any questions, and I don‘t mind at all when they are asked.
Perfect place to stay and explore the surrounding areas. Forts, museums, parks, restaurants and history all around. Nina was great and is actually opening a second hand store across the street. Very nice place.
We loved staying at this cottage! Perfect for the two of us, while we visited our daughter who couldn’t come home for her Thanksgiving break from UVM. The furnishings, and decor were perfect and we were able to come back at the end of the day to a warm and cozy place!! We will definitely return!
Had an awesome winter stay, Nina is a great host, the house was newly renovated, and had everything you could want, amazing place couldn’t recommend more!
