Was a perfect place to stay for our visit to Nashville. Large back yard for taking the dogs out. Owner was great and answered any of our questions right away. Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again next time we are in Nashville.
Cindy is a great host who goes above and beyond for her guests, even the fur babies! The cozy home is in a quiet neighborhood and the location is convenient to airport and interstates. We would stay again when back in Nashville.
Comfortable home and comfortable beds. Could use a deeper cleaning in the bathroom on the baseboards and the louvered doors. It was fine for our short trip to basically just sleep in.
We loved this property! It was clean, had everything we needed, and it was in a fantastic location. We enjoyed a nice neighborhood walk the morning before we left. It was close to several great restaurants and close enough to downtown to Uber. Highly recommend!!
Very well located next to the airport and tons of restaurant options. They were very considerate of pet needs as well, blankets and bowls were readily available.

Casey, thank you for being a wonderful guest. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you're able to return.
Yellow Door was so welcoming. Met friends that were camping at Percy Priest Lake to kayak with them a couple days. Went to downtown Nashville & used uber & that was very reasonable for 5 of us to go downtown. Had a great stay. Will definitely stay there again if we are coming that way.
We enjoyed our visit to Nashville and our stay at Yellow Door. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. I enjoyed the quiet mornings sitting on the back porch reading my book.
We enjoyed our stay at the Yellow Door. It was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. It's in a quiet neighborhood but close to grocery stores & restaurants, and an easy 20 min or so drive or Uber to downtown. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with. Just a note that this is a 1 bathroom - not a 1.5 bath.
Our stay at The Yellow Door was absolutely lovely. The space was both cozy and surprisingly spacious, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The bed was incredibly comfortable—we slept so well!Cindy, the owner, was extremely attentive and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything feel even more welcoming. She clearly puts a lot of care into making her guests feel at home. We felt truly accommodated and would happily stay again!
The property was great, loved it, loved the location. We had a problem with our car and needed to stay an extra night. Luckily the property wasn't already booked and the host was able to add the extra night. She was so helpful and very quick to respond. I give The Yellow Door a 20 out of 10!

I do not want my summary to go live.I had issues with the cleanliness of the home and when communicated with the host, she took offense to it

I responded immediately to Debbie, apologized and offered suggestions to address her concerns. She said no to all of them. I feel she is the type of guest that would not be satisfied no matter what. As a result, I offered her a full refund for the remaining of her reservation if she wanted to find somewhere else to stay. She declined and said that I misinterpreted her complaints.
If she didn't want me to do anything for her, why did she complain? I can only surmise that It wasn't that big of a deal. I would caution hosts regarding renting to this particular guest.
There were lots of cobwebs and dust in all corners of the rooms. the floor vents were not afixed and small hands wanted to pick them up. There is a lot lacking in the kitchen, no mixing bowls, amd lack of cooking utensils, and cooking vesels made cooking difficult. The glass table top is not afixed to the base and could be a hazzard.Loved the location and overall appearance of the property.

As a host, I try to give guests a little grace. Because I knew this guest had a small child, I was forgiving in my review. However, there was food and crumbs on the floor in most rooms. The dining table tablecloth was hanging off and inside out. Furniture and various items were moved and not put back. Not all house guidelines were followed such as putting items in the dishwasher that shouldn't be. The back porch light was not turned on as requested for security purposes.
After every guest, floors are vacuumed and mopped and throw rugs are laundered. Could there have been something missed - of course.
Floor vents are never secured to the floor. They slip into the hole and can be removed to be cleaned. It is not my responsibility to bolt everything down in case someone wants to move something. The glass table top is on a sturdy metal base. It is so heavy, it takes two adults to move it. Perhaps if someone stood on top of it and jumped up and down, it might move.
There is a large mixing bowl. Kitchen items available include but are not limited to a spatula, rubber stirring spoon, ladel, whisk, potatoe peeler, cork screw, bottle opener, measuring cups, cookie sheets, frying pans, glass baking dishes, coffee maker, Keurig, Espresso machine, cutting boards, knives, cutlery, toaster, blender and colander. Coffee, tea, sugar, creamer and a variety of snacks are complimentary. Also, I provide shampoo, bodywash and laundry detergent (free washer and dryer).
Very cute stay that is just like the photos. Good size kitchen and dining area that you could comfortably cook and eat in. The bedrooms were comfortable as well and the back porch area was a great place to hang out in the evening or watch your pup. Please note this is not a fenced in area, but it is a very nice green area so plenty of space for doggos to stretch their legs. One of the beds was very squeaky but otherwise very comfortable. I did pass the house when I first was driving there, but otherwise very easy to find and get in. I stayed here overnight on a roadtrip so I did not get to explore the area, but it was a very comfortable stay and would imagine it would be fun for a longer trip as well! Host left a welcome gift which was a very kind touch. Also, she was incredibly accommodating when I needed to switch my dates around, and I really appreciated it! The pull-out couch was unfortunately not working, so this house would likely only sleep 4 at this time (but there is an air mattress). Overall, I'd recommend this adorable Nashville stay!
