Thank you! I'm most happy when my guests are satisfied. Glad you liked the beds cause I made an effort to get good mattresses. Looking forward to hosting you again in the future.

We really enjoyed it stay at The House of Colors! It's a super cute place and was very convenient for the weekend of Loyola University's graduation. It was quiet and comfortable. Parking was easy behind the house, though it did take a minute to find it with all the one-way streets. Thanks for a great stay!

Thank you, Erin. It makes me very happy to hear you enjoyed my house. Come again anytime!
This home was clean and in a great location. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. The only issue we had was that the interior of the home was very old and needs updates badly. My other guests felt that the amount we paid was too much based on the condition of the property. It looked to lived in and the owner had a lot of personal items that were not stored away. The home is great for a couple of night stays, but not up to the standards that we are accustomed to when we book through VRBO. The key access to the home is to much to deal with because we are used to electronic entry without having to worry about using a key. The owner was great and receptive to our requests, but we will use other more updated properties in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. The house is as presented in the listing and photos, so that guests can make an informed decision when choosing to make a reservation. It is my personal residence, which is also clearly shown in the listing, and as such it has everything a home needs. It has a minimal amount of my personal items, and the rest is what makes house a home. The closets are empty for guests. The house is also 100 years old and I'm also not into going with the fad of the moment, but focus on living more sustainably.
Thus, respectfully, you may be better off choosing carefully next time, and choosing a corporate run property.
The house was clean, well stocked, and had lots of room. It was in a lovely quiet neighborhood, good for a morning walk. The narrow street was parked tight with cars at night but there was plenty of parking behind the house. Zoya was very friendly and responsive to any questions. We enjoyed our interactions with her. We recommend it highly.

The property is what we needed and it was a blessing for the parking off the alley. The bedrooms were great with wonderful beds.

This house was spotless, the beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet as can be. We were only a short distance from Johns Hopkins for our visit, which was really convenient. The kitchen is well stocked too.

Convenient and Comfortable
This is our second stay at the house. It is an excellent place to enjoy the area, and as in our case, a base to visit family.
Quiet neighborhood. Easy to get around.

Quaint and comfortable
After traveling (and being in a vehicle for almost 24 hours) arriving here was like arriving at home. The beds are comfortable, the water always hot, the neighborhood quiet and the house is colorful and comfy. Only issue I had was opening the basement door to remove the recycling and take out the trash.
I would stay here again.

Thanks Susan, glad you felt at home. Thanks for taking good care of my home. We would be happy to host you any time. Working on improving the basement old door in the meantime.
Ednor Gardens is a quiet, well-preserved, historic residential neighborhood in the middle of the city and close to everything we wanted to see.
The house was very clean, comfortable and safe. It had everything we needed. The AC worked great. The washer and dryer worked great.
I will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Thank you:) Pleasure having you and looking forward to hosting you again.
Great house with decent amenities. The house decor and art was a real treat to experience. Neighbors were really nice. The street is a narrow one-way like a lot of Baltimore neighborhood streets, but street parking wasn't too bad if you know how to parallel park.
So nice to stay at a home with laundry and a kitchen. The beds were great and love the themes of each room. Also the shower had great water pressure. Would definitely recommend the house to others who need a place to stay in NE Baltimore.

Thank you RL, for your kind words. We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay in my home. You’re welcome back anytime.
For readers: please note that we also have a parking spot in our back driveway, as well as a one car garage.
Communication with host was great and check-in was seamless. The house is historically beautiful and as described. There is no ventilation in bathroom so, as noted with signage, you will need to open the window after every use. The bedrooms do not have curtains so if you are a light sleeper, you will need to pack a sleep mask. The kitchen is a little cluttered but it does offer a great start for your basic cooking needs. The beds were very comfortable and theres plenty of space in the home to relax with your whole family. The neighborhood seems nice and we had no noise or issues from the close neighbors. Excellent location for nearby aquarium, museums and other tourist spots. Only an hour drive to DC as well for day trips.
We stayed @housecolorful in August for college move-in dat/week. Property was as described. You have all that you need in a house for day‐to-day living. We liked the feel and decor of this charming rowhouse, from the squeaky floors to all of the personal items throughout, reminding us of old Europe. The host was very kind and responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed walking around the neighborhood to catch the sunset and see the skyline of downtown Baltimore, very pretty with lots of greenery everywhere, impressive to people traveling from Arizona. We would definitely go back and stay at the house again.

Thank you, it’s my great pleasure to hear you enjoyed my humble abode :) I’ll be looking forward to your next visit.
This is a comfortable and inspiring home. Loved all the hand-painted touches and wonderful art all around. Very cheerful colors. Incredibly comfortable beds and linens. We were there in winter so didn't get to experience the neighborhood in bloom but could tell it must be lovely with all the flowering trees and many gardens.
The one note I have for anyone considering staying here, the bathtub/shower does not have grab bars and has a curtain all around so nothing even to lean on. It was fine for me but my 87-year-old mother did not feel safe using it. Just something to be aware of.

Perfect home base for moving our son to college
We needed a home away from home across the country to collect all the items my son needed to move into his dorm room. We also wanted a convenient location to downtown, suburbia, and DC so we could vacation a little, as well as prepare my son for college. Zoya's place had all the comforts of home from which to launch our boy on to the next phase of his life. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the lack of wifi available during our visit. The caretaker and owner both tried to work with the provider to turn it back on so I think the problem was bigger than them but we were at the very end of our data plan so it was a bit of an incovenience. The home was cozy and the neighborhood was quiet and convenient for all we needed.

Thank you Karen, glad you enjoyed the house. Regarding the Wifi, we had had repeated problems with Verizon lately, inconveniencing our guests. We finally got fed up and decided to change providers. That also was a process and the proper installation required some pushing and shoving with the new provider's installers. What happened to customer service in this country? In any case, we could provide modest hotspot service during the transition period. Sorry for the inconvenience. Hope you will come stay with us again - now all is in good order and the speed is great.
