WALKING DISTANCE TO SWAMI'S BEACH, BEAUTIFUL POOL, HUGE HOUSE!
The space is an amazing gathering place for families. Tons of space for cooking meals and entertaining. The outdoor space is amazing as well with a separate outdoor kitchen, grill, and fireplace. The pool and hot tub are fantastic and both have covers in case you have small children that you want to keep out :).
You will be able to access the whole property, except for the garage, apartment above the garage, and back yard of the garage. The rest of the space is yours! Our daughter comes and goes out of the apartment above the garage. You may or may not see her. She will reach out to you, however, and be your contact for any onsite needs.

Parking: Please note that we do not allow more than 3 cars. All cars must always be parked in the driveway and there is no street parking allowed as it is on a privately owned street. :)

Guests: We do not allow more than 10 guests on the property and that includes anyone coming to visit that isn't staying as a guest at the property.
Other things to note
Please note there is no smoking on the property...inside or outside.
Please note there are a couple of neighborhood cats that wander into the yard at times. They are friendly and usually just pass through.
Please note that the outdoor sink is not in working order.
Please note city of Encinitas is requiring a 10% occupancy tax on your stay. So once you have booked the reservation you will receive a separate bill to pay for the tax on top of your original payment.

AMAZING STAY! Paige was so helpful with questions. Check in/out was so easy. The backyard was absolutely beautiful and great for 7 people to hang. The inside living room/kitchen is WAY bigger than expected which was great to have the space. Beds were very comfy and big enough to share with friends. The area is super close to the beach/downtown area with bars and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much!

Lovely home and garden

We hosted out of town family for the weekend. Home is spacious yet cozy, allowing for privacy when desired but also inviting communal spaces for when we wanted to gather. Home and grounds are beautiful. Seasonal decorations were a nice personal touch. Great location-easy walking distance to beach and local businesses. Highly recommend!!!

birthday celebration

We were celebrating my birthday with all my kids and grandkids and the house was a perfect size. there was plenty of room for everyone to have some space of their own. We loved the outdoor area. The walk to the beach was a bit too long with bringing all the toys, blankets, etc so we drove which was fine. Due to Covid we spent the majority of our time at the property and cooked and brought food in. It was conveniently located to several grocery stores and restaurant delivery/pickup was easy. All in all the house was very nice.

Family Getaway

This is a perfect vacation spot if you're looking to have fun quality time with your family! We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub and close proximity to nearby beaches and Legoland. The backyard is amazing and there is plenty of room to kickback and relax! We brought some floaties and dive rings for our kids and they had a blast! The kids' playhouse was also a special treat. I highly recommend this vacation home!

Fabulous home that's great for families

The interior is clean and spacious with lots of character and charm. The well maintained pool and spa provided many happy hours for our grandkids and the large gazebo nearby was the adults' happy place. The kitchen was well supplied for our large group. We appreciated the many labels indicating which switches operated which lights and other helpful hints. Highly recommend.

Great getaway location

Loved this house, the pool/hot tub, and the gorgeous property. We stayed here for 5 nights to visit family in San Diego. The location was an easy walk to the beach and the main drag of Encinitas. The property is very quiet. The roses and landscaping were the icing on the cake. The owner was very helpful and responsive and the property had everything we needed. The decor is nice and furniture attractive and functional for the family (tweens/teens and grownups). We did feel like it could have been a little cleaner—overall due for a “deep clean” of woodwork/doors, switches, floors, etc—however that didn’t stop us from having a truly enjoyable time! If you go, don’t miss ice cream at Jojo’s creamery or the sunset from the cliffs overlooking the beach.

Cardiff by the beach.

This was a perfect house for our family and extended family. Very open and easy to have places to dine inside and outside together. Having to shut everything off at 10pm outside due to neighbors was not easy a few times. But since we had first time parents and small children we were staying up late. If you have teenagers who want to be out in the pool late this seating may not work. Very accessible to Swami Beach. We walked over. Don’t sit too close to the overhanging cliffs. Also close to stores and places to eat. You can walk to a lot of things. We had a great time.

Very Friendly and An Amazing Space!

This home was perfect! Plenty of room for all of us traveling together and great location. Close enough to the beach and the strip but very private! We had a wonderful experience staying here. Great house in a great town on the coast of SoCal.

Great house to bring your family to experience the coast of SoCal. Close to the beach, great pool and hot tub to entertain the kids. The house has lots of room for the kids to enjoy on the first floor. The bedrooms could use a little more dresser storage space. The kitchen and eating area are a great meeting place for the whole family. The grounds are very well maintained in a very nice neighborhood. The town of Encinitas still retains some of it’s old surfing status, while also going through the transformation that other SoCal towns have gone through. The homeowner is very responsive to your needs and is committed to making your stay enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay very much.
