The Beach and Area

We are super close to the whitest sand beaches and calmest waters! Florida’s Emerald Coast is at the top of the list for best beaches. If you don't know "30A", you definitely need to run a quick search and see why 30A is known for being classy, contemporary, and chill. No hustle and bustle here like you'd find at crowded Destin or Panama City.

The best beaches with calm waters and pristine sand. We are soo close and you'll love your time there. Our home is ideally located so that you may easily access all of 30A's finest dining, attractions, and fun stuff to do! There are 2 nearby beach access points you can go to - Gulfview Heights or Blue Mountain. Both are a short 3 minute *drive*. Please look at my photo album to see aerial shots of the house to the beach and the map to the beach. The map picture shows the route to Blue Mountain. There is parking there as well as restroom facilities, showers, etc. You can also rent a golf cart if you want to do that - I know a great rental company. You can certainly walk along the sidewalks to get there. Most people drive if you're bringing cooler, chairs, and stuff.

We are just minutes from Gulf Place and The Hub to enjoy local dining, drinking, and shopping. Local favorites like Seaside are a few short miles away by car or bicycle. If you forget to pack your lunch, you can always grab a sandwich from Goatfeathers to take down to the beach. There are several great restaurants down the street... Some favorites are The Local, Perfect Pig, Pizza by the Sea, Shunk Gulley, Blue Mabel , Red Bar, North Beach Social, Sunrise Coffee, and the Growler Garage craft beer bar. Nightly ice cream stops at Blue Mountain Creamery or Pecan Jacks, the best on 30A!

If you’re lucky enough to stay during the third Thursday of the month, enjoy the Walking Wine night at Gulf Place, and check their website for concerts and other frequent events. Bike rentals at Big Daddy's Bike Shop right next to Blue Mountain Bakery.

At night, make sure to grab your flashlights, nets and buckets for some crab hunting.

Rainy days, head down to Rock Paper Scissors 30A at Grayton for some arts and crafts with the little ones, right next to Hurricanes Oyster Bar and Grille.

The Pool

🏝 Kids of all ages go crazy for our huge awesome pool. Check out the pictures - complete with breezy palms and plenty of lounge chairs. Hot tub! Plenty of relaxing space and a giant covered pavilion with outdoor kitchen, grill area, and plenty of shady places to sit with padded chairs and sofas.
✸ This pool, pavilion, grill area, and observation deck are PRIVATE to our community. Gated and guarded. The pool is a short walk just 5 doors down from the house.

After dinner, gather around the fire pit by the pool, roast some marshmallows, and watch the colorful Florida sunset. Later, venture up the huge observation tower and take in 360-degree views of the entire coastal area.

The House

Our lovely four-bedroom home is stylishly decorated with gentle colors of the sea. As you enter through double-doors, you are greeted by warm hardwood floors and coastal shiplap. A big open living, dining and kitchen area is a great gathering and entertaining spot. A 65” LCD smart TV is in the living room with streaming options. Wifi is available throughout the house. Other Smart TV's are located in the master bedroom, sunroom and bunk room. We only have internet not cable TV - you'll need to use a streaming service via the smart TV (or bring your own device).

Prepare beach snacks or evening meals in the modern and shiny gourmet kitchen. White cabinets, granite countertops, and stainless-steel appliances complete the contemporary look. A very spacious screened-in back porch with lounge chairs and dining seating make it the perfect spot to relax. In addition, a gas grill is also available outside on the back patio.

A large master suite is located on the first floor - the perfect retreat to catch up on some much-needed rest! The master bedroom is huge with walk-in shower and plenty of closet space. On the second floor, three other spacious bedrooms offer queen beds, a bunk room for 4, a private bathroom for one of the rooms, and a shared bathroom for the other two bedrooms and bunk room. All are decorated in beach themes.

The outdoor shower is a great place to clean up after a long day at the beach. The sunroom is a good place to relax and play cards in the evening or on rainy days.

~~Check In/Out~~
▶▶ Check-In is 4pm Central - we cannot do early check-ins due to the cleaning protocols. Check-Out is 10am Central - we need you to be timely so the cleaners can do their thing to make the house nice and sparkly for the next guest! ◀◀

~~Parking~~
▶▶ ***THERE IS ONLY PARKING FOR 2 CARS ON THE PROPERTY***. The neighborhood streets are small and there is no parking allowed on the streets. Parking for additional cars is some distance away on another residential street or at the beach lot. More information will be provided before check-in but it's recommended to plan ahead for consolidating vehicles. The garage is not available for guest use. ◀◀

~~Beach Supplies~~
▶▶ I don't provide beach chairs or towels. Please bring your own. There is a chair/umbrella guy *right there* at the bottom of the steps to the beach if you'd like to do daily rentals. ◀◀

~~House Supplies~~
▶▶ I provide a starter supply of paper products and hand, dish, and laundry soaps. You will need to get yourself more for longer stays or for more people. We don't supply other toiletries; you will need your own shampoo, etc. I don't provide kitchen basics (foil, oil, nonstick spray, salt, pepper, seasonings, coffee, cream, sugar.) The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, a drip/Keurig combo coffee maker, and more. Be sure to stop at Publix or Walmart on your way in for your food and supply needs. ◀◀
