Welcome to The Cottage! A peaceful countryside retreat located just 25 minutes outside of downtown Greenville, SC and 7 minutes from the beautiful town of Greer, SC.

The house features an outdoor fire pit, large insta-worthy kitchen with industrial sink and brick walls, BBQ, loft and trails through the forest. The interior features a living area with a 55” Smart TV, 3 bedrooms and 1 loft (sleeps up to 10, 8 comfortably), 2 full bathrooms and a large covered porch!
The home has been newly renovated and is specially designed for peace, rest, relaxation, and reconnecting with your loved ones!

INTERIOR:
- Downstairs Green Bedroom (1st bedroom) includes 1 queen bed, closet area, private patio, blackout blinds, bed lamp with bluetooth speaker.
- Downstairs Bathroom (main bathroom) includes towels and hand cloths, hair dryer and soaps.
- Upstairs White Bedroom (2nd bedroom) includes 1 queen bed, work desk with chair, pine vaulted ceiling and blackout blinds.
- Upstairs Yellow Bedroom (3rd bedroom) includes 1 queen bed, full length mirror, pine vaulted ceiling and blackout blinds
- Upstairs Bathroom includes towels and hand cloths, shower rain head and soaps.
- The Loft (4th bedroom) includes 1 double bed, 30" Smart TV, and overlooks the kitchen.
- The Living Room has a couch that turns into a queen bed and can sleep two people, 55” smart TV and is perfect for a cozy movie night.
- Kitchen includes an island that seats up to 8, coffee bar with keurig single serve, fridge, range, oven, microwave, dishes, glassware, toaster, and cutlery.
- Laundry Closet is accessed from the Kitchen and includes a new stackable washer and dryer with soaps.

EXTERIOR:
- Property: House is located on a 6 acre parcel off a private road. 2.5 acres are cleared with lawn area and 3.5 acres is forest with several walking trails and a small creek.
- Large outdoor patio with fire pit. Cook over the fire with the grill top or roast hot dogs and marshmallows with roasting sticks provided. Firewood is also provided!
- There is plenty of parking available and we can accommodate most vehicles with trailers (please inform us before parking the trailer).

AREA ATTRACTIONS:
- Located minutes from downtown Greenville and Greer and all it has to offer!
- Great restaurants, breweries and bars.
- Hiking & Waterfalls: Plenty of good hiking trails & waterfalls nearby for all skill levels
- Blue Ridge Parkway: America's most scenic highway!
- Golf: Plenty of public golf options in the area including highly rated Willow Creek, Thornblade, and Pebble Creek.
- Peach Orchards: South Carolina is the largest peach producing state in the country. Fisher Orchard is only 10 minutes away!

GUEST ACCESS:
- Guests will have access to the whole house and its amenities including a trampoline, basketball and hockey net for the kids.
- House has smart locks for access. Unique code will be provided the day of arrival and a few hours before check-in.
- The Firepit patio is a communal location and shared space with family on property. Most of the time it's unoccupied and we try to leave guests to their privacy.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
- Rates reflect a 15% discount when 7+ nights are selected, 20% discount when 14+ nights are selected and up to a 30% discount if booking for 30 days or more.
- Nightly rates vary depending on time of the year and day of the week, M-W is cheapest, F-S are highest.
- We ask that our guests keep it quiet after 11pm for the neighbors that live in the area.
- Up to two well-behaved dogs are allowed. $35 fee applies. Sorry, No cats allowed. A $500 fee will be charged for any unauthorized animals brought on to the property.
- We make every effort to have all service work done between guests, however in some cases various services may occur during your stay. These could include: service, landscaping, pest control, & garbage collection.
- We strive to have everything fully functional for every guest. Sometimes things break and we are unable to have things repaired or replaced in time for the next guest. No refunds or discounts will be given for one or more items not being functional. This includes appliances, grill, electronics, etc...
-We take every effort to control insects and bugs but this is the south and you may run into them throughout your stay. There will be no refunds if you come into contact with insects during your stay. Thank you for understanding.
-There is a small family dog on the property that is very friendly and he loves his morning and evening walks along the trails!

The cottage had everything we needed for our trip. There was enough room for all of us and the cottage was very clean. It is in a quiet location and was still easy to get to. We would stay here again next time we are in the Greenville area.

Great Little Place!

We really enjoyed staying here. It's a great little place that really maximizes all the space in the cottage. It was perfect for what we needed! Everyone loved the island in the kitchen. I wish we would have had more time to relax, utilize, and enjoy all of the amenities, but we were on a tight schedule. We enjoyed the trail behind the cottage. Cute little place. I would definitely stay again or recommend it!

Spring break getaway

Loved the cottage,especially the kitchen. We went hiking in the South and North Carolina mountains. A visit to downtown Greenville was a pleasant surprise. Reddy Falls was very quaint. Enjoyed the trsil on the property as we'd hike the morning and evening.

Loved this little cottage. Kids loved being able to run around the trails and play outside like they do at home. It is a pet friendly rental, so we did deal with a bit of dog hair, nothing that a load of laundry and a lint roller couldn't fix. So nice that washer and dryer are included. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay and house was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The little trail behind the house to the creek was beautiful and if it had been warmer we would have enjoyed sitting around the firepit and using the porch swing and grill.

Great stay for the whole family

We stayed over Thanksgiving with 3 adults and 3 boys. The house was perfect for us! The giant island gave us plenty of space to eat and work, and the loft with its own bed and TV was a huge hit with our teenager. We enjoyed hiking the trails and the boys loved the outdoor space and sports equipment. The hosts were thoughtful and great communicators. We’d highly recommend.

Great family vacation!

We were visiting the Greenville area to consider relocating in the next year. The cottage was a great option for our extended family vacation as we had 5 adults 3 teens and an infant in our group. We didn’t realize from the listing how close the onsite property owners home was to the cottage but they were very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the firepit - spacious kitchen for preparing and sharing our meals and the beautiful hiking trails on property. For us - the convenience of being able to explore the surrounding towns made the location just perfect! We definitely recommend staying at the cottage.

Little bit of paradise

What a gorgeous property! This sparkling clean house was perfect for our weekend visit to the area. The hosts were friendly and welcoming (they live in adjacent building). The house has everything we needed to feel at home and welcomed. I loved that there was coffee and blankets! One of our favorite parts of the stay was hiking the private trail behind the house. Our kids and dog have never had more fun. Thank you for an incredible stay!

Dallas & Val have worked very hard to fully appoint this space. They clearly had a vision for it. Everything was as expected, and more. Clean linens, comfy beds, sweet extras. My grandson asked us to build a loft for him at our house. We were here the week before & 2 days after our daughter's wedding. We had a few family members staying overnight but threw a bridal shower during the day. The owners were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We also ended the day with a lovely fire in the pit outside. The house itself is simple, clean, and beautifully decorated. Thank you!

The kitchen is as lovely as the picture, but we didn't do any cooking during our stay—there's plenty of space for four adults. The bed on the main floor is similar to a sleeper sofa bed. Bathrooms are stocked with supplies. Everything was very clean. The cottage is directly behind a home, and a studio room is attached to the cottage, which seems to be rented out also. You can hear people moving around {was not a problem}. We were able to park 2 vehicles without issue, and the neighborhood was quiet. Getting downtown Greer was easy, as well as downtown Greenville.

Great space with cool vibe

The pictures are accurate of the style of home. This has just enough space to meet our needs. It’s very casual and comfortable, with all you stay the night, getting a good nights rest. I’m a bit of a of cook, so an upgrade in the pans would help. Outside patio area was ample, but better seats around the fire pit are needed. We all had be thankful for this home.

We love living in a country setting that is peaceful and quiet as well as safe and comfortable! That's why we choose to move our family here and set up a beautiful and relaxing property for everyone to enjoy!
The neighborhood is quiet and spread out. Most properties are 2-10 acres in size with ours being 6 acres!

If you require any assistance or need help with something please ring the Blink doorbell camera and we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible! We can also keep touch though the Airbnb app text thread!

The firepit is a communal area where we love to connect with guests and guests have a chance to meet other guests from the Studio connected to the back!

What makes this property unique

Walk the property and have all your outdoor senses come alive! 2.5 acres of cleared lawn space with fruit trees and garden views and 3.5 acres of forest with winding trails alongside a babbling spring fed creek! Take your dog for a walk or just let it run around. Use the beautiful fire pit and patio to share family and friend times and make great memories!
