I love this property!! It was our second visit here. It’s a private location, the living area is very cozy, and the whole cabin is exceptionally clean!! The jacuzzi tub is an ideal size for a couple, and the host communicates well. We will definitely be booking another stay.
It comes as advertised. April is an excellent host. She's clearly invested in her guests' comfort and is very responsive should any needs arise. This was our third stay at the property. On our drive back to Virginia, we were already discussing another trip next September.
My husband and I were looking for a small escape from everyday life. We are so happy that we booked this cabin to do just that. It was very clean, so cozy and everything was properly labeled with how to operate things. We loved sitting next to the fireplace to read and enjoy the delicious coffee cake that was kindly left for us by the host from a local bakery. We brought our dog along with us and there was a toy and treats left for her on the table as well as bowls for water and food.
We had a great and relaxing time here. It was quiet, we enjoyed that we were able to bring our dog and the jacuzzi was wonderful. There were many signs and directions which were very appreciated and helped out quite a bit. There are so many great places to eat and visit in the area as well. We definitely recommend staying here!
A great place to unwind and enjoy the great white north! Clean, well-stocked, and perfect for a weekend--or more--getaway. We can't wait to head there again.
Second time staying. Cozy house with fenced yard. Excellent for people who travel with their furry family. Owners are always very quick to respond and helpful with all questions. Would stay again
Great home tucked away from just about everything, but also convenient as a party store and bar/restaurant is nearby down the road. Home was spotless, comfortable and quiet, with everything we needed for a great stay. April is a great host with nearly immediate responses to any questions we had. A perfect landing spot to all of the great things that northern Michigan has to offer. Secluded, but everything within a few minutes, a perfect combination to enjoy Higgins Lake, The AuSable River, Kneff Lake and everything that is up north. Thank you April for your un-matched hospitality, we plan to be back!

Mark,
So happy your family found my place. You’re welcome back anytime!
There isn’t a more perfect getaway than this property/cabin! It is always spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you could possibly need. It is home away from home comfy. The hot tub room, big fenced yard and comfy furniture keeps us coming back whenever we can. Plus, being pet friendly means no one gets left behind . Did I mention the delicious baked goods the hosts leave for you on the big family size kitchen table? We look forward to seeing what we get each visit - yummy coffee cake crumble or delectable blueberry bread. It comes from Grayling’s own Goodall Bakery! Don’t pass up an opportunity to stay here, you will always want to come back!

Janice,
Thank you so much, so happy you and your family enjoyed your stay!
This was a great place for a relaxing weekend getaway. The hot tub and fire place were great. Owner provided lots of extras you normally wouldn’t see. Will definitely keep this in mind for future getaways.
We had a perfect relaxing weekend getaway. The cabin was very cozy and the hosts were very kind and easy to communicate with. We would stay there again!
April was amazing. She gave clearly laid out instructions for getting there, running the place, and cleaning up. The place was clean, beautifully decorated, well stocked, and the jacuzzi tub was amazing, as was the fireplace.
