Welcome to our updated warm apartment in Sapphire, North Carolina! Our cozy and spacious accommodation offers everything you need for an unforgettable experience in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. With a capacity for 8 guests, this is the perfect place for families or groups of friends looking to enjoy a genuine vacation.


The apartment features two bedrooms and two bathrooms for added convenience. In the master bedroom, you can unwind in a comfortable king-size bed, a separate sitting area, and your private bathroom. Additionally, you'll have direct access to a private back porch, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding majestic mountains.


The second bedroom is equally charming, with two comfortable queen-size beds and a bunk bed for two, perfect for the little ones or additional guests. From this room, you can also access another back patio where you can relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.


The apartment is equipped with all the amenities you need to feel at home. Enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the television, stay connected with internet and phone services, and indulge in a wide range of TV channels to entertain yourself during downtime. Our home includes a laundry closet with a stackable washer and dryer.


On cooler days, the fireplace will provide a warm and inviting atmosphere. Imagine spending evenings by the fire while gazing at the stars from the back porch with nearly year-round panoramic mountain views.


We are pleased to offer a pet-friendly experience, so if you have a furry companion, you are more than welcome to bring them along! We accept a maximum of two dogs to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and happy during their stay.


The apartment is located in the exclusive Hill Top condominium. It is a short walk to Fairfield Lake. In the summer you can swim and bask in the sun on hot days. There are canoes, kayaks, and other fun aquatic equipment to rent. Additionally, all Wyndham Resort Amenities are available to our guests (fees not included). You'll have access to fantastic facilities such as golf courses, mini golf, refreshing swimming pools outdoors and indoors, relaxing Jacuzzis, tennis courts to keep you active and entertained during your leisure time, saunas and hot tub, gym, and game room. In the winter months snow skiing and snow tubing!


This apartment is truly a haven surrounded by nature and tranquility, offering the perfect setting for beautiful walks and hikes in the serene surroundings. You can immerse yourself in the peaceful ambiance and enjoy the scenic beauty that this mountain retreat has to offer.

Week end stay

The shower floor and a leaky roof with ceiling damage should be repaired before renting unit. The heat was hard to control with downstairs and upstairs. The information stated to pick up the amenity card from registration office but when I went to pick up there was additional fees.

The drive and the community were beautiful. The house itself had several things about it that could be better. There was a leak in the roof of the gameroom area. There's a sign saying it's fixed, but it's not. As we attempted to do a puzzle and play dominoes it began to leak on us. Any way the dominoes were incomplete as were the 1000 PC puzzles we attempted for 2.5 hours. The house has barely any heated water (which was very inconvenient being as we have a tank less water heater in FL way warmer than we experienced in this NC cabin). The downstairs mainroom heater also wasn't functioning or the TV in the main bedroom. There were pletlnty of beds however and extra towels and blankets. They did allow dogs on property and have a pretty view. They were only 3 minutes from skiing/snowboarding. Which I would say are decent for beginner skiers. My husband and I have been skiing once before and got a bit tired of the one slope and lift, but again, worth the price. Our daughter however loved the slope both days we were there the whole time. The stay included amenity cards which gave decent discounts at the skii resort. All in all I'd stay again, but maybe in warmer months.

This property comfortably accommodated our family, and had nice seasonal touches. It is very adequately equipped to cook in house. This was not our first visit. We would surely consider visiting again.

We had to contact the owner about turning up the heat. Couldn’t find the thermostat, but after that, things were much better. We really enjoyed our stay. Got to see several waterfalls, an arts and craft show, and we were spared all the rain associated with Hurricane Ian. The weather was great and we felt very fortunate! We always cook, so having a kitchen is always a must!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. Barbara was a wonderful host and we loved the place. My only recommendation is to update the photos as more bedding was added and it is better than the photos. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Would love to go again.

A decent place to stay in this part of beautiful SWNC

While we enjoyed our 10-day stay here, there were some issues with the property itself that we have addressed to the owners, I trust that they will take care of them for future renters. Bed was very comfortable, kitchen well-equipped for in-house cooking, location of property was convenient to everything in the Cashiers-Highlands-Sapphire vicinity.

The house was lovely. Very homey and comfortable. Open floor plan up stairs made family time easy. Owner got back to me quickly when I had questions. Really close to the saphire ski resort. And the little trail down by the lake was fun but not complicated for small children.

The condo was spacious and the property area pretty and peaceful. There was a nearby lake and a 3 mile trail around it. The property is also close to Gorges State Park. At the time we visited, there was a mildew problem in the 2nd bedroom so we chose to shut that room off and not use it because of our sensitivity to mold. The community center is a county community center, not part of the condo community. It is not a far drive, but be aware that children under 14 cannot use the hot tub, dry spa, or weight room.

Location was very good and plenty of room. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds on the feeder. It could use some TLC: various light bulbs burned out, would have liked to use the outside hose to spray off shoes, but it was broken. Could use a broom to sweep leaves off the entry. Could use a note about what to do with trash, outside bins were not obvious.

We’ll-furnished, great location

This rental had everything we needed, and was in a great location. The owner was a pleasure to correspond with. However, there is a mold issue in the bedrooms. There were dehumidifiers and plug-ins to mask the smell, but allergy sufferers should not stay here until the problem is resolved.
