About this property

Cozy Condo in Sapphire NC

Our Hilltop Villa is a relaxing, beautiful and comfortable place to call your home away from home while vacationing in one of the country's most pristine locations without paying outrageous prices. We are perfectly located at 3600 ft elevation in the Smoky Mountains, 2 miles east of Cashiers, 12 miles east of Highlands, and just 2 1/2 hrs. from Atlanta.
You will find everything you need to enjoy your stay including wireless internet, 3 TV's (Large flat screen TV ), DVD/VCR player, wood burning fireplace, covered deck which includes plenty of seating. Pets are welcome! 2 dogs max please.
A beautifully furnished great room with large comfy leather sofa, loveseat and recliner, and 55” flat screen tv along with nice size kitchen and dining room for 6 completes the upstairs. Downstairs includes the master bedroom with king size bed, nightstand, reading chair and flat screen tv. The master bath adjoins the bedroom with separate large vanity. The guest bedroom has full bed and nightstand with dresser and tv. Both baths have tile floors and showers as well as large mirrors and ceiling heaters. All towels and linens are provided. Upstairs is oak hardwood floors, downstairs is luxury vinyl plank. No carpet!
Off the back of the master and guest bedroom you will find our cozy enclosed sleeping porch with day bed and trundle bed.
Our home includes a laundry closet with stackable washer and dryer.
Our large covered porch for outdoor relaxation is located off the living room on the upstairs level with views of the mountains. We find it very peaceful to sit out here and feel the cool mountain air.
Our home is a short walk to Fairfield Lake which in the summer has canoes, kayaks and other fun boats to rent.
This area boasts numerous golf courses, fine dining restaurants, locally owned bistros, shops, grocery (Ingles) and
gorgeous waterfalls as well as many other attractions.
All Wyndham Resort Amenities are available to our guests (fees not included). The resort provides golf, tennis, recreational center with indoor and outdoor pools. Saunas and hot tub, gym, mini golf and game room. In the winter months snow skiing and snow tubing!

Summer Retreat from the Heat

While the outside of the condos look a little tired, the setting is beautiful. Woodsy, hilly, but not isolated. The location was easy to find each time we returned from exploring the area. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. I would rent this condo again.

Great Getaway

Property was very clean and comfortable, and location was great. The town of Cashiers was close by and so were the amenities at the Sapphire Country Club which we enjoyed. We had a very nice getaway from the heat at home and hope to do it again next year!

Great Family Condo

We really enjoyed our stay and it was the perfect setup for our family. The bed was comfortable, the living room was spacious and we appreciated that it was a smart TV so we could enjoy some shows after our little one went to bed. The location was perfect as it was just off the main road and less than 10 minutes from the crossroads in Cashiers.

Waterfall Weekend

We wanted to check out Gorges State Park and Find other waterfalls. The property was a perfect break when we weren't hiking. Very Cozy with an awesome porch. Owner was super nice and accomadated us well. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family is from Tallahassee, FL. We have been vacationing in Sapphire and nearby areas for over 40 years. There is no place like it. We purchased this home to continue to enjoy the area with our family and to offer as a retreat to others.

Why they chose this property

We found Hilltop to be so convenient to all the wonderful areas around the smoky mountains and close enough to walk to Lake Fairfield. My grandparents owned a condo here in the 80's when the old Fairfield Inn was here. I also went to Camp Merrie-Woode which borders the lake and is a short walk from our condo. So many wonderful memories here!

What makes this property unique

We just love this cozy condo! Its nice and quiet and so comfortable to stay in. There are hardwood floors on the first floor and we have a great big stone wood burning fireplace that keeps us nice and toasty in the fall and winter. We have recently updated the downstairs with wood vinyl plank and new tile in baths. We have tastefully decorated with big cushy leather sofas and a comfy recliner. There is a 55' flat screen smart tv in the living room/ We love laying around and watching movies or sitting on the back porch and feeling the cool mountain breeze. Our kitchen is the perfect size for cooking family meals. The bedrooms downstairs are tucked away and peaceful with a large bonus sun / sleeping porch off the back. All beds are super comfy and we sleep so good! I hope you enjoy this place as much as we do. We never want to leave!
