Experience Iceland's charm from our beautiful, historic, spacious villa nestled in Downtown Reykjavik. Perfect for up to 10 guests, this property's attractions include six comfortable bedrooms, a private garden, and immediate access to the city central.

THE SPACE
Embrace the tranquility of our century-old 6-bedroom villa that effortlessly combines vintage charm with contemporary comfort. The villa is spacious and comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and everything you need for a luxurious stay in the city center.

On the main floor you’ll find a large living room with a 65 inch TV, a spacious dining room that seats ten people comfortably as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The main floor also has a large bedroom and a half bathroom.

Upstairs you have five bedrooms. The floor is spacious and has a balcony, a shower room and a half bathroom, offering ample space for rest and privacy.

In the basement you have a full bathroom, a large laundry room with a washer and a dryer as well as two showers. Please note that the basement stairs are steep.

Outside, a private garden entices with its quiet charm, converting into a quaint outdoor dining space.

Great location in the historical district of Reykjavik. Within easy walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and night life. Great owners that were available and worked to get us all we needed. House had all 10 people needed.

Loved this house

Our family of 7 stayed for a week and it was very comfortable for all. Comfortable beds, functional kitchen, large dining space and plenty of room for lounging — though we were very busy and didn’t spend much time lounging. Close enough to walk to everything downtown. The decor of the house was fun and interesting — we all loved it.

Our Daughter's Wedding

This was the most amazing home! We were in Reykjavik for our daughter's wedding, and we shared the home with our family. The glorious historic villa was absolutely perfect and perfectly enhanced our fairytale trip to Iceland. Thora was the kindest and most communicative host -- EVER. She was a joy to work with!

Great time in Iceland

The Historical House was in an ideal location and provided plenty of space to enjoy togetherness. The property manager was very quick with helpful responses. One of our daughters picked up pastries nearby every morning that we enjoyed together over the large sharing table. The kids enjoyed small sleeping areas and it was just a very comfortable situation allowing day trips to Golden Circle and The Blue Lagoon. Delightful dinners were shared nearby each evening. I would highly recommend this VRBO

Wedding in Iceland

Our daughter's wedding was in Iceland so finding a comfortable place to stay for so many friends and family was challenging. Then I found this Villa! Oh my gosh, it's a beautiful, historic home that exceeded our expectations in every way! It had all the comforts of home packaged in a gorgeous house in a storied location ("Embassy Street"). We didn't want to leave! Also, the property manager, Thora, couldn't have been more wonderful and communicative. She responded to every question I had with immediacy and was thoughtful to check in with us after we had checked-in and out. I highly recommend this Villa in Reykjavik! Truly spectacular!

This neighborhood is my favorite in Reykjavik. Old charm with carefully renovated houses, right in the city center. Even though everything you need (shops, restaurants, museums, bars) is within a walking distance you are still secluded in a quiet area.
