Location, location, location!! 'Destin-ation' is across the street from the beach, located in popular Crystal Beach. After a day at the beach, relax in your private pool or lounge on the spacious sundeck.
This beach house can accommodate up to 8 people, which includes using the queen sleeper sofa. The house is fully furnished with a full size washer and dryer, 4 t.v.'s, 4 DVD players and all of the conveniences of home. This house has been a family favorite vacation rental for years. Destin-ation is located in The Courtyard at Crystal Beach community.
Destin Commons is a couple of blocks away, which offers fabulous shopping, AMC movie theater, Bass Pro Shop, and many restaurants to choose from. Publix and Walmart are nearby for groceries and beach items. Starbucks is walking distance from the house. Silver Sands Outlet Mall is only 10 minutes from the house.

Celebration Vacation

It was all of our first time stay in Destin and we were celebrating me beating stage 3 colon cancer! We had a wonderful stay at Dottie’s! Close to so many things and the house was wonderful!

Wonderful New Years at the Beach

We loved our stay in Destin to ring in the New Year! — Close to the beautiful beach, close to groceries, close to restaurants & even tennis courts & a frisbee golf course. The house was so accommodating — large table for meals & games & multiple spots to gather outside or soak up sunshine by the pool. Definitely a perfect location to enjoy some time together with family!

Family Vacation

We absolutely loved Crystal Beach and decided to return with our girls. What a great week of relaxing and enjoying the sun and beach. Loved the house, plenty of room for all of us, pool was perfect. Didn’t realize that there was construction across the street but we missed a lot of the noise by going to the beach. House was well stocked with all that was needed. Look forward to returning.

The house was well kept. It is walking distance to the beach. However the closest beach access only allows for about 25ft of public beach before you are trespassing on private property from the multiple private resorts. It made for very cramped beach days.

Birthday Week!

My family and I visited Destin for my birthday. It was perfect! Dottie is quick to respond to all communication and very much wanted to make sure our stay was great! The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. For us, Henderson State Park was our beach of choice with the umbrella/chair set up. There are plenty of beach toys at the house and we left new beach chairs so don’t go shopping before you check out the supplies! Dottie’s place is so close to everything you need to make your stay perfect!!! We will definitely be back!

AMAZING! This place was just right!

If you need a getaway with your family, this is the place! We LOVED this place and my husband asked me to reserve this exact house for next year already! It was perfect for our family (2 younger kids). Dottie was amazing and so nice! Literally less than 5 minute walk to the beach! She has all the extras for the beach you will need (beach wagon, kids toys, carpets). We loved grilling out and having the pool literally right out the back door! Talk about RELAXTION! We are now a true fan of Destin!!!

We enjoyed our stay at desti-nation! The house was roomy , comfortable, and very clean. It also smelled good all the time . The walk to the beach was short . Since very early spring the pool was too cool to enjoy but we did like sitting out on the porch. We were lucky to get the house 2 hrs earlier than normal check in. Thank you

Beach House Vacation 2023

Our family of 3 very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Dottie was very responsive and quick to reply to any questions we had. The property is in a great location to beach access. We walked to the beach each day. Dottie provided a duo Keurig after I inquired about the type of coffee maker provided. She also replaced the damaged lounger by the pool and had the new ones put together for us and ready to use. I would book this home again in the future!

Vacation Heaven

I have returned to this property several times. Everything about it is perfect for a relaxing beach vacation, and the owner, Dottie, is a dream to work with. The house is just a block off of the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The owners have thought of everything to make their guests feel at home, including beach chairs, gas grill, deck chairs, and a fully stocked kitchen with fresh flowers on the table. The icing on the cake is the adorable, quaint neighborhood where the home is located. This is my "go to" VRBO home in Destin. I would literally change the dates of my vacation to get this rental, and to work with such an accommodating owner. Highly recommend for couples or families!

This was our first trip to Destin and we stayed at Destin-ation over spring break this year with our 4 school aged children. We were very pleased with all the extras this home had for its guests! This home is in a great location, just steps to the beach, and the homeowner had everything you would need to make your beach day a success. Our children can't stop talking about how much fun they had in the private pool. The house was very clean and had EVERYTHING we needed for the week. Dottie is so sweet and was there to answer any questions we might have. We will for sure be staying at this house again. Thanks again for making our 2018 Spring Break a success! The Kaser's

My wife and I have traveled to Destin for the past 5 years multiple times. We have always VRBO our stays and this beach house is by far the best we have stayed at. Clean, large, REALLY CLOSE TO THE BEACH, close to everything, awesome pool, great kitchen and the list goes on. Aside from the great beach house, the owner is even BETTER! I reached out to her multiple times and not once did I feel unimportant, quick response and as polite as can be, booking with her was easy also. She allowed us to move our reservation 6 months later in the year and was never an issue. Thanks Dottie! Don't over think it, if this place is available book it, you won't regret it! We will come back to this beach house again and again!!

Location! Location! Locations!

This house was exceptional. Quick walk to the beach, very nice pool, and the lower patio was perfect for lunch on a hot afternoon. Having the ability to use the beach chairs and beach toys with wagon was great as well. The 3rd floor loft bedroom is larger than expected, the pictures don't do it justice. It was big enough for both of my teen children to fit in. The house had everything we needed! The 1st floor bedrooms did get warm (and it could have just been us, and I think we are spoiled with our ceiling fan at home, which the downstairs bedroom did not have. However, pedestal fans were in the closet which helped. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and the price is very good for the area! This was our first trip to Destin and Destin-ation and won't be our last.

Why they chose this property

When we saw this house and it's location, we fell in love with it. Our beach house is located across the street from the beach in a quaint neighborhood called The Courtyard at Crystal Beach. Crystal Beach has pastel colored homes with white picket fences. We love to take morning walks in the neighborhood and on the beach. We hope you will enjoy staying there as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

The close proximity to the beach is wonderful, with the public beach access one block away. We love having the pool to relax in after a day at the beach! The shopping is endless between the Destin Commons and the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. There are many wonderful restaurants close by. The Ft. Walton airport is only 25 minutes away.
