A wonderful, centrally located family villa with private pool and apartment

Villa Sweet Escape
This lovely, spacious villa, Villa Sweet Escape, is located in the beautiful villa park Zuurzak.

There is ample space on site for parking 2 cars in the shade. You will be surprised by the beautiful tropical garden.

Upon entering the house you immediately notice the wonderful space. The room is nicely furnished with a dining table, lounge set, desk and a large pool table. The beautiful open kitchen is fully equipped and preparing a delicious meal is no problem.

You step onto the cozy terrace through the large folding doors. Here you will find beautiful high-quality furniture such as a lounge set and a dining table where you can enjoy meals with a view over the garden and the swimming pool. There are sun loungers around the pool that invite you to enjoy the sun. And if you just don't feel like the sun; under the palapa you can relax in the shade.

The villa has 3 spacious bedrooms. 2 x two person bedrooms and 1 x 4 person bedroom, totally 8 persons. The bedrooms have ample closet space. You also have access to 3 bathrooms.

Under the villa is a 2 person apartment with the 4th bedroom. If you come with more than 8 people, you can use the apartment. If you come with fewer people and you still want to use the apartment with the 4 bedroom, there is a surcharge of €75,- per night

- The villa is suitable for wheelchair users

- The Zuurzak villa park is a luxury resort, located on the salt pans of Jan Thiel. The villa is located on the outskirts of the resort on the Caracasbaaiweg so you will hear traffic sounds from this road

- At Christmas time the minimum stay is 14 nights

Great house with private pool

Villa Sweet Escape is a lovely house with private pool & lots of seating & dining options. We spent most of the time outside on the patio. In the evening we gathered around the tv to watch movies. The property manager was excellent & responded promptly to our needs. Our stay was for 2 weeks & a house cleaning & linen change was provided after 1 week.

Not what I expected

House backs up to a busy street and the sound of traffic and horns can be heard through the day and evening, as well as the traffic through out the night. Kitchen had a lot of bugs on the counter that we couldn’t quite figure out what they were.The beds were less than comfortable with one of the bedrooms having 2 twins pushed together calling it a king but kept getting stuck in the crack between throughout the night.The host seems to be super interested in the arrival time of flights and all other info that would make you feel like they will be accommodating once you arrive, but if you arrive before 4pm they will not check you in until then, and not a minute prior.Host charges for all the electric and water used. At the time of booking neither were listed on the booking, and after booking she sent a message saying that the first 50KWH were included and anything after that would be charged. Also stated water was included. After we left host charged the credit card for all the water and electric usage (not giving a 50KWH per day credit). After confronted she added the electric usage to the booking claiming one must pay for all but still didn’t add the water to the booking details. Wasn’t a ton of money but principle of host attempting to back charge for more money.
