New doors, floors, carpet, paint, furniture, bathrooms, appliances, T.V.'s, Blu Ray players, New Bikes, Bike trailer, Ping Pong, Foosball and over 100 DVD movies! There are plenty of games to keep everyone busy! The living room has a gas fireplace and plenty of windows to allow Sunriver’s year round sunshine in. The fully stocked completely new kitchen looks out to the dining area with direct access to the large deck and private backyard adjacent to the bike paths.

Guys weekend

Stayed here for a low key bachelor weekend. House was absolutely fantastic, hot tub was great, had bikes and a ping pong table. Outdoor seating with a nice grill to cook on. Close to the village core but far enough away to have quiet. House was very clean and we enjoyed our time there.

Perfect for families

The layout was perfect for a family with a pre-teen and 5 year old. The family room having the large TV downstairs and another TV in the loft above for video games was perfect for entertainment. Enough space to be together for a movie night, and apart when we needed that too!

Nice Stay

The only feedback would be the lack of outdoor seating (table that seats 5 but home can accommodate up to 8). Sliding glass door was broken next to the dining table which is where we had to eat meals due to lack of outdoor seating. Otherwise home was as described.

There are a couple of things that I do believe need attention. The blinds in the upstairs bedrooms were broken, and the afternoons in the house were incredible hot. Other than that it was great!

All bikes were not in working order, had to go buy Allen wrenches to fix brakes for them. House smelled musty, beds are not comfortable and about 20 years old. Killed 6 spiders inside . Needs a re vamp.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found the home to be in very poor condition overall. The home appears to have been overused and under maintained for a good amount of time. There was no effective heat in the TV room except for a portable radiator heater that was much to small for the space. This made the room completely unusable for the entirety of our stay. Appliances were functionalHeating system, in general, barely adequate with the temperatures we experienced.Home was clean upon our arrival but cleaning can only help so much. The home has considerable deferred maintenance.Hot tub malfunctioned on second day and required 3rd party company to fix. They were very responsive and no other issues occurred. TV/video/stereo on the lower end of quality with very poor picture on all units.Having rented from Sunset on a number of occasions over the years I have to say that this home has me looking for other options. I would not recommend this home to anyone unless it is updated/upgraded from its current condition.

Backyard is trees and the road is very quiet.In summer, the house can get very warm in the early evenings due to no air conditioning. A little love to fix wobbly chairs, squeaky beds, and ripped blankets/linens would go a long way to upgrading the space – buts its nothing kids or busy families would be bothered by.

Great location not so great accomodations

Property is outdated and no air conditioning! evenings during our stay were hot and very uncomfortable. I would recommend another property with air conditioning during the summer months. Property layout is nice but definitely needs to be renovated and updated!

Reviewer Comments: Had a great time in Sun River but the rental could use a little TLC and upgrading! If you stay during the Summer unit does not have AC and the evenings from about 3pm-midnight were uncomfortable. Home is older and is showing some signs of age. I understand its a rental property but it could use some upgrading. Overall we still had a great time but I would have chosen a different property given a 2nd chance.

I would recommend that the owners spend a little money with some small upgrades--wallpaper peeling off in one bathroom and a little at a time replacing worn items. This would insure repeat renters.

A great week in Duck Pond

We came during a very hot week so staying cool wasn't easy. The ceiling fan upstairs didn't work. Back door had troubles locking. Cleaning staff upon arrival were wonderful!

Reviewer Comments: we had a large family group of 9 so the house was perfect size for us. also nice layout for enough privacy for family room loft area and living rm space off dining area. great location near river and convenience of village within walking/riding distance. only downside was air-conditioning a bit underpowered for the very hot days we had, but would definitely stay here again!

The only negative was that the hot tub did not work and the rental company gave us back some of our money. The room in the house was adequate for 8 adults and two younger children.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Duck Pond #2 from 8/16 thru 8/21. The house layout was great with the den/play room connected to the garage with a loft and double bed. The living area was also set up nicely with the dining room and living room together. The hot tub was in good condition but the deck was old with many protruding nails and screws. There was a broken board on the floor in the hallway leading into the living room/kitchen area that our grandson triped on as well as a trip hazard in the lower bathroom. We killed a few dozen or so spiders and ants that were in and around the home and found many spider webs on the walls, lights, fans, and ceilings. We found a yellow jacket nest on the west side of the home and called Sunset about it. They said they were sending maintence, but we never did see anyone. Overall we had a good time, and the SHARC passes really came in handy, but the home could hve been cleaner, without the trip hazards.

Our maintenance department did go out and spray the yellowjacket nest, but didn't need to disturb you. And should you encounter ANY housekeeping issues in the future, please let us know so we can come out and 'reclean'. Our housekeepers get pretty busy in the summer time and unfortunately sometimes things get missed, but we are ALWAYS happy to come back out and do anything that would make your stay more comfortable. We sure hope you'll get back to Sunriver soon!
