Summer escape

This is a well cared for home on a very private road in the Angel Fire Country Club area. This home is at approx 9480 ft so this home’s entry with no steps was great for loading and unloading. Our Ford Expedition had no trouble with the steep gravel road drive up to the road the home is on or with the steep gravel driveway down to the house. During wintry weather months, attempting this drive without 4WD is a BAD idea. We were there for two weeks. The first week was with a total of seven - Four adults and 3 kids aged 12 and under. The second week was with just the two of us. The kitchen is spacious w/ nice appliances. It’s equipped with the very basics in flatware, glassware, and cookware. (If you have a favorite bourbon or wine glass, bring it with you). The kitchen table seats four w/two at the kitchen counter so a group larger than 6 will juggle seating. The family room has wonderful windows to look at the wildlife - elk, deer, chipmunks, bear. This room will comfortable seat 5. The TV is set for Netflix and Prime so make sure you bring your log in info. No cable tv, apps only. Wi-Fi was great The comfortable King bedroom is off the family room with a very nice bath. The two queen rooms are upstairs - one VERY firm, one very soft plus queen sleeper sofa. Each bed has two pillows, we were glad we brought extras. The house is surrounded by beautiful aspen and pines, any Mountain View is through trees.
