Our family had a wonderful stay at Lake Seclusion! The home was fully equipped with everything we needed (including many children items), very clean and had plenty of space to accommodate our group of ten. The outdoor porches, dock and fire pit were perfect for taking in the picturesque views. The home was secluded, as the name suggests, but was just a short drive to plenty of family friendly activities.

Thank you for staying with us and sharing your memories at our home.
We had the pleasure of hosting Kim and her guests and had a positive experience with them. They left the house in good condition, showing respect for our space. There was a minor issue with a towel holder, but it was nothing that could not be repaired. Communication was smooth and prompt throughout their stay. We'd be happy to host Kim again in the future.
Everything from top to bottom was perfect about this home. Absolutely stunning view of the lake. Communication from the owners was outstanding and the house was very well stocked and organized! We had use of their kayaks which was a lot of fun! Wonderful stay at a beautiful home!

Stunning views in a peaceful location. Home comfortable for a family gathering, well supplied kitchen, comfy beds and plushy towels. Hope to return in warmer weather to use the lake and water equipment.

We were delighted to host Monique and her guests. They left the house in excellent condition and were very accommodating, even allowing a repairman in to make a minor fix during their stay. Communication with was easy and timely. We would gladly welcome Monique back anytime.
We used everything they had to offer and wish we had more time. We are looking forward to our next trip there and have already recommended to a friend.

Thanks for the great review Kristia! So glad you enjoyed your stay and we would love to host you again soon!
You will love this place if want to get away from it all as you are deep away from others on 45 acres on a beautiful lake. Home is well appointed for cooking as realized once got there we were eating in all dinners and breakfast and venturing out for lunch only.
The views are fabulous and the bedding comfortable.
My only warning to others is to be sure no issue with stairs as three of the four bedrooms require stairs.
Hosts were great to work with.

Thank you Karen for staying with us! Happy New Year!
We have stayed in many VRBOs for vacation and this property is by far our favorite. Rachael was incredibly responsive, helpful, and timely in our communications with us.The house itself is beautiful--very clean, well stocked (the kitchen supplies were outstanding), and comfortable. Lots of little touches that made our stay special. You can't beat where the house is situated. It's just a short and relatively easy walk to the lake and a large dock, stocked with fun water equipement such as paddle boards and kayaks. The views from the deck are breathtaking. We also had fun visiting the surrounding areas, taking hikes up Mill Mountain, visiting the Mill Mountain Zoo, taking a boat cruise on SML, visiting Old City Cemetary in Lynchburg, visiting downtown Roanoke, and eating at Jake's Place. It was a magical vacation for us in large part because of the property. We highly recommend it!

Thank you Erin! We look forward to hosting you again!
I have rented several houses in this area and Lake Seclusion rates at the top of my list! The house is aptly named; the property is very private and has wonderful lake views.
The house is organized, tidy, and well-furnished. The beds are very comfortable and my teenage daughter asked me to message the host and ask where the linens could be purchased! The host was quick to respond to any questions we had.
Lake Seclusion has a fully stocked kitchen, and a large game/movie room with loads of games to play.
The new dock is great and includes kayaks, paddle boards, and a canoe.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to booking again. See you soon Lake Seclusion.

Stacy, thank you! It was our pleasure to host you and your family. We hope that you will be able to return next year and see another stunning season on our quiet corner of the lake.
My first visit to Smith Mountain Lake and will NOT be my last! Already looking to rebook this place in the summer. The house is pristine! Brand new in every way and so many of the little details are thought out. You want to cook? Great selection of real kitchen gear including an instant pot and vitamix blender. Not just cheap crap from the dollar store. You want a fire in the evening (and YES you do!)? Brand new jumbo size Solo Stove and a mountain of firewood ready to go. You want to hit the water? Private dock with kayaks, stand up paddle boards, everything you need for fun.
The house is perfectly laid out so that those that want privacy, get it, and those that want to be with the crowd, that’s covered as well.
But the real reason you come is the view at sunset. You plan the rest of your trip so that every evening you are on the deck looking out over the water, watching the sun go down. And you stay there for two hours, minimum. It is truly magical.
Can’t thank the hosts enough for a truly perfect weekend.

Thank you Jeremy! It was a pleasure hosting you. We are thrilled you enjoyed our home and all the “little things” that make it our home. We look forward to seeing you and your family next year!
Great house. Clean. Ample space. Comfortable beds.
Lots of supplies (toaster, coffee maker, nice pots, pans, and utensils for cooking, and some spices).
Right on the lake. Great deck and windows!
(Looks like they are still working on path down to the lake, but great property overall!)

We'd love to have you back Justin! Thanks for the great review and for being an awesome guest!
We rented this home for a family weekend to watch a V-Tech football game. The school is about an hour and 10 mins away, but we were grateful to be able to stay together and have the opportunity to cook and bring our own food. The house is brand new! 4 bedrooms, 2 with king beds, one with 4 singles and one with a queen bed. Three full new bathrooms also. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances etc and the fridge is large enough for all the food! Once the dock and boat ramp are installed this home is going to be very sought after. Great experience!
