Beautiful Lake Delavan/Lake Geneva Vacation Home

Escape to the country and the Lake Delavan / Lake Geneva area.
Beautiful, spacious and quiet 4 bedroom / 3 bath, 2500 square foot home on private 1 ½ acres near Delavan Lake. Perfect for families, couples or group getaway. Near the end of a private dead-end street, but close to shopping, dining and other amenities. Less than ½ mile to Lake Lawn Resort and the Lake Delavan public boat launch and park. 10 minutes to Williams Bay / Fontana and 15 minutes to Lake Geneva. Full master bath remodel in December 2022.

Two huge living spaces - formal upstairs living / dining area with nice views and beautiful new flooring, and entertainment space/family room on lower level walkout, with a huge new comfortable sectional. Two large, stately stone fireplaces, perfect for a cozy evening at home. Enjoy the outdoors on the 400+ sqft deck overlooking back yard, a campfire around the fire pit, or in the enclosed 3 season room. 7ft pool table and foosball on lower level.

4 very large bedrooms. Master bedroom has a king bed, 2nd bedroom with queen bed, 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds (all upstairs) and 4th bedroom downstairs with 2 full beds.

Home includes washer/dryer, 2 large flat screen TVs with YouTubeTV, Roku, Disney+ and Netflix streaming, Wi-Fi, linens, towels, dishwasher, coffee maker, oven, microwave, propane grill and everything for the kitchen (dishes, silverware, glasses, cookware).

Golf at one of many nearby courses. Great fishing and skiing area. 15 minutes to Alpine Valley or 20 to Kettle Moraine for great hiking / biking. We are not able to accommodate groups without at least one adult that is 25 years or older. Due to an allergy in the family, we are no longer able to allow pets at the home. Contact us for referrals to boat rental and other things to do in the Lake Delavan / Lake Geneva area.

The house was magnificent , lots of space and a beautiful huge deck. Party of six and we were able to spot lots of wildlife in the backyard and plenty of room to hang out together.

The house is clean, bright, and spacious with plenty of room for 8 adults and 2 small children. The outside deck overlooking the beautiful yard was our favorite place to gather. The kitchen was roomy and the appliances were easy to use. There was plenty of parking space for our 3 cars, and the large yard was a big hit with the little ones who loved running around and exploring. There is also a nearby playground. The TV and the WiFi worked well and we liked the easy access to shopping and attractions throughout the Delavan-Lake Geneva area. We definitely recommend this house to others, and we hope to return another time to this comfortable vacation location.

The bedrooms were good . Downstairs bathroom shower was not very clean . The screened in porch had so many Cobb webs we weren’t comfortable sitting in there . Also the outside chairs and swing definitely need a good power washing . Mildew was so bad we couldn’t use them .

Very large house. It would be great for families. A great location. Close to everywhere we wanted to go. Easy to get in with the code. I had the wrong Wi-Fi code but contacted the host and he responded quickly. We had a note that said the dishwasher wasn’t working. I tried to contact the host to see what we should do but no response. It was no big deal because we ate all our meals out and just washed the dishes by hand before we left. The only negative would be the furniture wasn’t very comfortable and it would be nice to have a shelf in the shower to put shampoo and soap on. We enjoyed seeing the wild turkeys walk through the yard each day. Nice neighborhood. I would stay here again.

We appreciated the layout, spaciousness, and location, and the host was very communicative. However, the house could benefit from a deep cleaning and more attention to maintenance.The grill was very dirty, the fridge could use an upgrade since the filtered water line and ice maker did not work, and the kitchen knives were dull. There were no extra blankets available at night (needed for downstairs, which was much colder than upstairs).With a bit more care and attention to detail, this could be a great rental. I'd recommend it for groups who prioritize space, layout, and location, but not for travelers expecting a polished or well-maintained stay.

This property is very lovely and extremely clean. The beds are comfortable and there were plenty of towels and other needed items throughout the house. The house itself is a beautiful example of mid-century architecture, which we really admired. It is quite roomy and inviting. If there is any complaint, it would be that a grill was advertised, which we planned on taking advantage of, but there was no propane. When I contacted Kurt, I did not receive a reply. This, however, will not prevent me from renting here again and we are already planning our next stay. It’s a great house and we plan on coming back when the weather will allow us to sit on the very appealing deck.

The house has been recently renovated on the inside, outside could use a little TLC. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed outdoor walks. All bedrooms were spacious and worked great for our group.A few things to note: Queen mattress seems like it should be replaced. They supply one ply toilet paper there were partials of two ply so assuming some guests buy their own. We did try to use the grill it was not clean, it lit but then must have been out of gas. We did not receive any check out information, (no binder like other places) we messaged the host but didn’t get a response so not sure if the vrbo message was received.
