Competa typical andalusia village in the mountains or the coast place Nerja and Torrox about 20 min from to coast Competa you will love this village with about 10 restaurants where the quality of the food is really good, Competa have 3 supermarkets (Dia, coviran, komo komo) and yearly there are a lot typical Spanish fiestas like feria Competa, ( July, aug) dia de vino ( aug) . If you want a day to malaga it's about 55 min granada about 1.5 hr for skiing in winter you can visit sierra nevada 1,45hr , rio verde nice River in the middle of national park with all kind if falls its about 1 hr drive . come and see and feel the vibe of Competa

Perfect Villa in a perfect location

Beautiful villa set in the hills looking down towards the coast. Every detail is catered for in the villa, fully equipped kitchen, including airfryer etc. Pool area is perfect for chilled days. I would say that the villa is a lot further into town than stated, especially if not driving, stepped road down to villa and hard walk back to main road when goong back into town

Beautiful house with stunning views

A really beautiful house with everything you need. As a family of four, the house was very spacious, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Kitchen had all the appliances you could need. The outside area had two dining tables, sun loungers, swing chair and hammock along with a lovely warm pool. The view was stunning and the area quiet and relaxing. If you are a larger group and spending days around the pool, extra sunloungers would be helpful. Competa was a pretty town with some lovely restaurants. The journey to Competa is mountainous but this is nothing compared to the road down to the property - only wide enough for one car, very steep, challenging road with sheer drops to the side - need to be a confident driver! We walked into town in the evenings and it took around 15 mins to walk up the steep road to the main road and then another 10 minutes into the edge of the town on a fairly flat road. Restaurants were beyond that, uphill again! The Vrbo "Explore The Area" heading implied a 6 minute walk to the centre, this isn't the case! Owner was very responsive and answered any questions we had. Overall, a lovely relaxing holiday.
