Seaside Paradise

This beach cottage located at the second level, is one of a kind. Please contact vrbo or owner for dates you are interested in if you don’t see availability. This cottage is so calming to just sit there and watch the ocean which is only steps away. Turtles frequently swim nearby for your enjoyment.

The main building is under construction, so price is reduced for this season. Can be noisy Mon to Fri from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, No construction weekends or holidays.

All amenities are there in the cottage and on the property. The only thing you will need are groceries which can be bought on the way or 2 miles past the cottage at Tamuras Market. • KITCHEN CLEAN-UP is your responsibility before departure, no dirty dishes or trash left behind, PLEASE!! or the bugs (especially ants) will take full occupancy!

We will take care of everything else. Also, only if you feel like it, help us with a load of towels or bed sheets is really appreciate it. Have a safe trip back home

We loved our stay and can’t wait to return. We arrived the same day power was restored after Tropical Storm Lala. Jacqui was communicative and patient as we probed them for power updates in the days leading up to our trip. The cottage itself was clean and comfy. We felt safe and loved the close proximity to the water. We saw honu almost every day. Despite originally being from Hawai’i, we were hot; the fans made the humidity tolerable for the most part. 10/10 would recommend. Missing the sounds of the waves already!

Incredible views and sunrises at this beautiful rental. The home was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen. There is a beautiful sandy beach, making it easy to go for a swim whenever you want. Every day there were sea turtles resting on the beach and the snorkeling was amazing! Mahalo for the stay.

This place is a gem. Yes, the outside is a little rundown however the apartment has everything you need. The views are outstanding.The beds are comfy and the lack of AC is not a problem. We slept brilliantly.The beach is delightful and the turtles are magical. I would definitely come back here.

Lovely location! If we visit Oahu again we would immediately head back to the North Shore and stay here. Cottage was well appointed with everything we needed and you can’t beat the views or proximity to the beach. We watched so many sea turtles from the sun room. Jacqui was responsive and check in was easy. Kaya’s Store is a short walk away and had a delicious take out breakfast and any essentials you need for great prices.

Our visit to the islands was significantly impacted by Hurricane Lala. Our flight from Maui to Oahu was cancelled twice. After a day and a half delay in getting a flight we were able to get to Oahu. We had contacted the host several times to keep her updated on our travel plans. She was quite accomodating to our situation and offered us a partial refund of our payment due to only being able to stay in the unit 1 night instead of the 23 nights we had planned on being their. Also due to Lala, the unit had no electricity when we arrived. the host provided several battery powered lights to help us get around the unit. the host did allow us to check out 2 hours late so that we could take in one more attraction before our departure. Jacqie was great.

The beach is so wonderful. It’s so close and so nice. The beds are comfortable and the space is cute and clean. For my three kids and me, the space was big enough. But it would be too small for four adults.

This place was awesome. Loved my stay. Jacqui was so easy and nice; she is filled with aloha. We were stuck during a storm and could not leave and allowed us to stay an extra night. I recommend this place. We hope to book again in the future.

We stayed for more than a week in this home (in July) and had truly a great time, will definitely come back. The home was clean upon arrival. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. The mattresses as well as pillows were fantastic; we slept very well! I am mentioning this as we’ve found that with other VRBO homes the mattresses can sometimes be a a little saggy, leading to uncomfortable sleeping. There are plenty of towels (regular and beachtowels), a few boogie boards, snorkeling equipment for kids and adults, beach chairs, a cooler and an umbrella. Communication with the host was very smooth and overall we had a great experience. Punalu’u is a quiet and beautiful area of the Island with great hiking and surfing opportunities within just a few miles of the condo, and further convenient exploration of the entire island. Due to construction in the larger condo building, parking is sometimes a bit challenging and on a few days, others would park in our designated spot. However, one of the residents told us we could also park in spots marked with ‘DHL’ which resolved the issue. Once construction is completed, parking should be back to normal. It was great that the complex has a gym, as running along Kamehameha Highway wasn’t ideal as traffic can get heavy at times and didn’t feel safe.

View is marvelous. Cottage is about 50 yards from the ocean. From the main room it looks like you are on a boat because all you see is the ocean. Grounds are not too crowded. Nice place to relax and enjoy Hawaii.

Being Raised on Oahu and used to living in Oklahoma for over 30 years ; this cottage will bring me home. It is like stepping back in time to be there watching the turtles and whales through the window in my living room. I come to relax and float in the clear, glass like, ocean which is just steps away. One must see to believe and experience to know.

Perfect to get away from the hussle an bustle of Waikiki. Once you visit Waikiki it is perfect to drive back to Old Hawaii.
