About this property

North Shore end unit with wrap around lanai on Secluded Beach

Note: This building is currently undergoing renovation work, so sometimes it's noisy (weekdays, 8-5 only - the hours that most guests are out enjoying the island). The work will not be constant, depends on weather and what part of the building they're doing. Also, depending on where the work is taking place, you may not be affected at all. If you choose to make reservations and find the noise not to be acceptable, please contact me before your departure and a full refund will be issued for the number of nights that you departed before your scheduled checkout date.

Oahu is called the 'Gathering Place' and is home of Waikiki, Diamond Head and Pearl Harbor. The windward side retains the subtle feeling of old Hawaii, a Hawaii before the multi-story hotels and condos of Waikiki and the urban traffic, hustle and bustle of Honolulu. It still has that wonderful sense of 'Aloha' that you are welcomed as a friend.

Pat's at Punalu'u is about 30 miles from Waikiki and the Honolulu International Airport. The condo sits on a private, reef-protected beach, which is great for kids. The water is about waist to chest deep along the beach and is excellent for snorkeling. There is also a fresh water swimming pool, and outdoor shower.

You are 45-minutes from the nightlife of Waikiki or snorkeling at Hunauma Bay.

Our one-bedroom "end unit" with a huge wrap-around lanai can accommodate up to five guests. It has a full-size kitchen and a washer and dryer...though you will probably be "living" in T-shirts, shorts and swimsuits. The condo has ceiling fans, smart TV, cable TV, books to read - including guidebooks to Hawaii. We provide beach chairs, towels, a beach umbrella, ice chest and other items for your trips to the beach. All you need is your sunscreen and swimsuits.

We had a wonderful stay at this beachfront Oʻahu property. The views were absolutely stunning—waking up to the ocean and watching the sunrises each morning was a highlight of the trip. Beach access was incredibly easy, making it simple to go back and forth throughout the day for swimming, relaxing, and long walks along the shore. The property was comfortable, well-located, and perfect for a laid-back island getaway. Overall, it was a great stay and a place we would happily return to.

What a Great place to stay on the island! The location is great to visit all over the island.The unit itself is great too. All the conveniences to cook if you want, as well as relax in the unit or on tbe beach. We would absolutely stay again next time we go.

It was a great location with beautiful view of the ocean. It was nice to have access to the private beach if we didn’t want to drive to one. We also got to see some turtles. The location could not be beat. Being right on the beach was fantastic and the views were wonderful. It was exactly where we wanted to be on the island for the things we wanted to see and do. The amenities were great, the bed was comfy and our host was very friendly and helpful. We only wished we had air conditioning a few times when the breeze was too light to blow through the condo. The fans were a big help though. We also loved having our own included parking space and felt very safe throughout our stay. We loved this part of the island and would love to stay here again.

The condo was absolutely lovely. Though we had to cut our stay short, the views were magnificent. Great location on a few minutes away from great locations for restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions. Beach access was easy, and for those of you who may have accessibility issues, the route to the beach and pool is easy to navigate. Again wish we could have stayed longer! Kathy is so helpful in making your stay as hassle free and comfortable as possible!

I loved the wrap around lanie and saw sea turtles swim from the lanie!

The property is older but they keep renovating Having the surf break is so nice and oh man between 3-15 sea turtles on the beach every night and swimming in the ocean!!! Amazing

The place was clean with a beautiful view! The corner was perfect for sunrises and looking out at the beach and ocean! The beach just outside was perfect and made it magical to just walk to each day. The place was furnished with everything you would need- even down to salt and pepper and some condiments. They had beach chairs, an umbrella, and beach towels - which was a super nice touch. We loved this location too. Close to all the great beaches! We would definitely choose this exact place again

Quick stay in Punaluu

Kathleen was very communicative and easy to work with! The description made it clear the building is under renovation, so we expected it and it is good to see that many needs of the overall building and property are being addressed. The unit has everything you need for a week-long beach vacation - plenty of linens, towels, and stocked kitchen. AMAZING view as shown in photos, and we enjoyed the beach just steps away. As mentioned in prior reviews, since there is no AC we needed windows open at night, and the road noise in the bedroom is considerable. We switched to the sofa bed (which is actually quite comfortable) and enjoyed surf sounds and the amazing sunrise from bed!

Just the spot to relax

We were very happy with the wrap around lanai and the cleanliness of the rooms. Great view of the beach and the ocean. The Wi-Fi was out for three days, but I’m still happy. We got to relax and rest. Honestly, would like to return if possible. I noticed there was no smoke detector. And I think it could use a better ironing board. Just suggestions. But yeah, I need this place again in my life.

Amazing views

This condo is clean, comfortable and has amazing views. We were debating between Wikiki and here. We made the right choice. The condo in on the beach and close to lots of other great beaches. The views are incredible.
