Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This home is fully furnished and overlooks Black River. It is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home with an additional open room that has a bed. The kitchen is equipped with appliances and cookware. Everything is provided except toiletries and food. The second floor has a walk out balcony that overlooks the river. A very spacious garage for storage. Rocky Point Drive is a public boat landing located 4.7 miles away (about a 10 minute drive).

Great place to stay. Owner was awesome. The house is perfect. Great view. I stayed there for 2 months for work and will always look for this house when I come back.

Great Location

Property was clean and well maintained. Owner was easy to communicate with and responsive to communications. Great location on the Black River, with easy access to Georgetown, but does not have direct river access.

Remote but very peaceful!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. The house had bare minimums and could use more kitchen items. The garage was great for parking a large truck in. The river was a beautiful out the back window.

Clean, Comfortable & Convenient to Backwoods

Husband and I stayed with our son & daughter for a long weekend - appreciated the layout that gave everyone space to spread out. Pretty view of the river from the kitchen and upstairs family room. Couldn’t fish from the property due to the elevation on the river, however there was a fishing spot nearby as you drove into the neighborhood. Appreciated the large garage, was nice to be able to pull our 2 vehicles in with plenty of room to spare. Overall the home was clean, well-kept, and great for our needs. Would definitely rent again for future competitions - drive took about 22 mins to get from The Barn to Backwoods.

Tranquil Location and Nice Property

Location was quiet and secluded. House was clean and garage was great for my boat and car. About 20 minutes to Georgetown (no restaurants or groceries nearby). Two negative things. House is 1 mile down gravel road so car/boat full of dust. Nightly rate is misleading. Check cleaning fee and service charges so look at the overall rate, not the nightly rate. Hotels in Georgetown look very low end so this is nice option.
