The home location was just what we were looking for! We brought a boat to enjoy fishing the rivers and ICW. This home had a boat slip on the Sampit which worked perfectly for us. The house itself could use some updates (HVAC system, WH to accommodate larger parties, kitchen appliances (we like to cook!). I would also suggest to the owner that light switches be labeled and have working bulbs in all fixtures. Other than a few minor inconveniences, we had a great stay!

Shelly group was got checked in and checked out without needing much communication . They took great care of the house and would recommend hosting her
If you like a peaceful, quiet atmosphere, live oak trees and a water view, this place is for you! The house is huge and has many activities if you're traveling with children. There are definitely items that could use some updating and/or repairs. The deck railing is wobbly, even with some L-brackets that were added, but there are signs that tell you not to lean on it. The deck stairs might need some attention as well but there were plenty of other ways to access the deck. The water tasted odd but we were easily able to get our own. There was a water cooler but it was unfortunately empty. Not all of the lights worked and some remotes had dead batteries. The area under the deck could use a good cleaning. There were ashtrays with old cigarettes in them laying on the tables. Again though, you couldn't beat the view and all of the items mentioned above were minor. We would stay here again.
