Property was spotless and stocked with anything you may have forgotten. Neighbors are friendly and it’s located on a quiet road. Plenty of room to spread out inside and out. Easy to get to and close to most amenities cook forest has to offer.
Cabin was very clean! Nice beds, rooms, living area! Enjoyed the stay very much!

Hi Chelsea -
Thank you for the kind words.
Can you tell us where we fell short of 5-⭐️, please? We strive to offer a superior guest experience and would appreciate your suggestion.
Thank you 🌿
The cabin was very clean and very well equipped. We stayed at multiple cabins in Cooks Forest over the years and this one definitely had the most. Linens, plenty of towels, fans in each room, fully stocked kitchen.
The property is beautiful and secluded. Very peaceful and quiet area and just a couple minutes drive to River road for hiking and other river activities. Loved the cabin and the only suggestion would be brighter lighting in the cabin for nighttime.
This cabin is quiet, comfy for humans and pets and just what you need to relax. Close to things to do if you want to go out but, we enjoy the staying there most!
Very clean, Nicely decorated, and well stocked with supplies. The cabin is dark, additional lighting would be nice. The host has small lanterns through out the cabin but still didn't provide enough light. The first step to front deck has some stepping stones that are uneven. The back door porch light didn't work. one additional outside trash can would be nice to have. We had 6 adults making 3 meals a day and generated a lot of trash. The firepit was nice and we spent time on the deck except for the days it rained. a covered deck would be a nice addition.

Joe -I am sorry you were not satisfied with the accommodations,
The kitchen light was dim - it had a bulb out…it was impossible to change, so we actually installed an entire new fixture that uses an additional bulb to make it brighter. I am sorry you did not locate the three ceiling lights, nor use the light in the fan in the living room (it has a separate function on the remote, and may not have turned on with the fan).
The back light is motion operated, and on a switch that must have been accidentally flipped off, as it is beside the switch for the mudroom.
Yes, the ground is uneven at the bottom of the front steps.
I understand it may have been inconvenient to have my cleaning person get the shed key from inside so she could empty the trash can. I apologized and stated this is the first time we have encountered this situation.
Because of this, I chose not to assess an additional cleaning fee for the excessive dog hair on the bed pillows and comforter. We are very accommodating to dogs, but have one rule that they are not to be on the beds.
We take great pride in providing an excellent guest experience - I am sorry your expectations were not met.
This cabin was awesome. They far outdid on amenities!! Loved it here. Super clean and quiet! Pet friendly!. My husband and I needed this amazing break! We relaxed and so enjoyed it here!
