Located in Ocala National Forest our home offers direct access to the Ocala North OHV trail system. Close proximity to Rodman Dam, motorcycle loop & FL hiking trail. Quick drive to springs at Salt Springs. Plenty of room to park your truck & trailer.

This is my family's 2nd home. When we're not there we enjoy sharing the space with other nature lovers. You will find the home fully appointed and kid friendly. Message with any questions.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Leave dirty towels in laundry basket. No need to strip beds. Just leave them unmade. Turn off lights, leave all fans on & lock the door.
Please take all trash and food with you. Trash removal fee is strictly enforced. Our cleaning lady is older & unable to handle trash left behind. The dump in Eureka and/or Ft. McCoy will be open.
If you made a campfire outside, make sure to extinguish it completely by pouring sand on it.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Do not leave food or trash outside. You will attract bears. Keep trash bags in cardboard box by 2nd fridge, until you leave.
Please take all trash with you. Trash removal fee. of $100, is strictly enforced. The dump in Ft. McCoy will be open, or Hog Valley Fire Dept on Wed

This was a great find for our trip to fish the drawdown at Rodman's. Less than five minutes from public boat launches. The house was really cozy and had everything we needed. Stopped for groceries on the way in at Salt Springs and we didn't need to leave the house again for anything else. Wi-fi worked great as well. The host was very communicative and helped point out the boat launches and a bait shop to assist with our trip. Overall a great time and caught a bunch of large fish! We plan to stay again in the future.

Fisherman's Getaway

The trip was to fish the Rodman Reservoir. The quarters were wonderful, though the road in was somewhat rough. Not the kind of stay where you can drive to the corner for quart of milk. I think it's great for peace and quiet and for exploring the Ocala National Forest. However; fisherman with high-end boats might seek accommodations somewhere that is closer to a usable ramp. The access to Rodman is very limited from any location. Better to go through the locks from St. John's River. Great property though. 1st class!
