Exceptional views with the rented property and privacy, the weather grated us snow for our entire trip. Which we greatly enjoyed and the area with the resting fog, unbelievable pictures taken during this stay and not a lot of regular traffic nor tourists. Always great fresh food from the locals restaurants. We love to visit and give back to the community as well, we enjoy the Oregon coast as our HAPPY PLACE! So this location was a different selection from staying on the coast but enjoyed the secluded area with it being on 40 acres yet only 5 miles from Tillamook downtown area. So if you don’t mind the short drive to the surrounding towns and beaches then this is the place for you and the family! The host were wonderful and easy to work with including very responsive, THANK YOU… Helps with making the stay at the property much more pleasant if issues arise to have the ability to get an answer quickly! Hopefully others will give this place a try, it was out of our norm but really enjoyed our stay! Christina ;-)

HI Gavin! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We loved hosting your group, and hope you will return. We appreciate your feedback and will share your comments with our local property team as we always enjoy hearing our guests had an excellent rental experience.
A couple hundred flies in house, Master bath toilet leaked, Shru with nest in crawl space where we had to turn on/off water, Breaker popped and had to wait 2 hours through dinner to get access to panel in garage(not safe practices) but had a great time.

Nice, but smelly
This house is so charming and has potential. The 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were really great. The beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook. The downside is this house has a pretty yucky odor. I think the carpet needs to be replaced. Smelly cat, smelly dog, smelly something!!! It is the number one thing why I can't give this cute home a great review. Also the water pump does not work at all in the upstairs bathroom if someone downstairs flushes or turns on the water. Pretty frustrating when you are all soaped up and the water turns off completely. It needs a little tlc with some upgrades starting with that stained up smelly carpet...it's gotta go! Tons of spiders so please spray. Please upgrade this house a little because it's way too cute to stink that bad. Lifeproof flooring all the way!

Disliked: Check-in, communication
Minor multiple issues made it less than stellar
Pros
-Really secluded
-quiet and no other wildlife issues to be concerned about
- comfortable beds
-kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in
Cons
- the gate literally had a big chain and lock that was difficult to get past
-no cell phone service at this location until you get connected to WiFi
-the drive is about 10-15 down the main road
-carpeted floors need thorough cleaning. Not vacuuming, but cleaning
-it smelled like 1985. It must be the older carpeting or the house just needs a good wipe down of all surfaces including walls to get rid of old musty smell
-dead bugs/dust/spiderwebs in windowsills
-power went out and I couldn’t get a hold of property management
-you physically have to turn on water outside. Older people or those w mobility issues won’t be able to turn it on/off
-little to no water pressure in shower upstairs’
-made 6 calls to address issues and never had it resolved over the phone. Was transferred to random voicemail, call was dropped, offered a callback and was never called back
I will not look at this location again and if I see that it’s the same property management- I’d rather pay more or just stay at a hotel
